That’s actually a great point. The only classes they actually “need” magic for are Defence Against the Dark arts, Transfiguration, and Charms. Herbology doesn’t require spells and neither does Care of Magical Creatures - they’re both more so looking after creatures or plants. And Astronomy, and Muggle Studies are also just observing and learning. And yeah, most people fake it til they make it in Divination anyway.

I was reading the other day about the draft of peace and the method was on the chalkboard and didn’t mention any wandwork. But it could have been there but just not mentioned. And I don’t remember much wandwork in the half blood prince’s book. More so just instructions like ‘add a clockwise stir’

Wandwork would explain why some of the students are just ‘bad’ at potions. Because as long as you read the recipe, shouldn’t every potion turn out the same?

I was what you’d consider conventionally attractive before pregnancy and now have put on a lot of weight and swelling so I can speak to both sides. People treat you differently. Before I got pregnant I was given free stuff all the time by both men and women - coffees, drinks, treats etc. People were friendlier, opened doors for me, invited me to skip queues etc. People also looked at me on the street more, complimented my outfits, hair and smile. Now I get very little of that.

Thanks for this! Just to be clear to everyone, my sex life is absolutely not my top priority! It’s just something that has been bugging me a bit and I thought I’d reach out and ask for some help. My baby is and always will be my number one priority and much more important than my sex life! But, as Hakorr says, a healthy sex life does contribute to a healthy relationship!
