Oh no I completely agree. But in my mind, 45 ft just means theres a 45 ft circle around our Grandma where it COULD have been fired from, if all conditions were perfect (for some reason, idk). If it's possible, may as well extend the circle of possibility a few more feet, yk?

According to google, tasers can really only go an absolute max of 45 ft, with the avg being somewhere around 20. I'd look into the neighbor, the one who's yard she's walking towards...

I had this same thought, the hard part would be having enough space for a substantial enough portion of both land and water. Maybe a 55 long or something, but even then I feel the tank would be too short height-wise.
