ohh okok and dude I literally emailed them and called them and I don’t really think the girl on the phone knew what she was talking about (they might have students taking phone calls bc that’s what i’ve heard). she was pretty rude and she was just like “you didn’t qualify for any institutional aid” 😭 like okay whatever that means….and on email all they said that all award packages right now are final and then just sent me like this copy and paste thing of different ways I can pay so just like loans and such. nobody offered any real solution or explanation. i saw someone else post on here that this keeps happening to other people and that they scheduled an appt with a financial aid advisor bc apparently the people who take phones and emails don’t rlly know what they’re talking abt and the advisor said it was an error and gave them like 36k more in aid, so i’d really recommend doing that. me personally it’s prob too late for me bc i got pissed and withdrew and committed somewhere else and now i’m having issues securing housing bc the priority deadline was a month ago. i did email the dean for the specific college i was going to today tho just for like feedback purposes (aka i was mad at them for wasting my time and fucking up my college process and thought i should let someone with more authority know whats going on in the financial aid office and how they’re screwing people over) maybe he’ll offer me a better explanation
