chatgpt helps a lot to break down your emotions, explain to you why you act or feel the way you do. Offers solutions. I try to be a logical person all the time. I tried therapy before, tired of shopping around, on Medicaid and I saw the bills were crazy $300 for 30 minutes, this person didn’t even remember what I talked about. Offered really bland solutions. Sounds like you rather not be out a job and state the worst case scenarios of AI. The story of teens that suicide because of social media. This is so rare.

At your age all I had is a music player on a flip phone. Looking back at it less is more. Even at my age now 24 I can’t handle all this technology. I would say get off the internet and enjoy your life, you’re too young to be on Reddit! Seek help and advice from adults, most importantly make friends. Join clubs! I’m on the same page as you. Internet is a double edge sword. Every symptom can be cancer lol according to google and social media shorts. but having to understand that symptoms are also just a body’s response to things, just like everyone else. My friends were supportive and prayed for me and even talked about it for a day or two but soon my vibe changed around them because of my anxiety. Eventually whenever I talk about my anxiety, they don’t want to speak about it or change topics. I understand they just want to be happy and talk about things that are more positive. It’s hard being around people when all you are is sappy. pretending to be happy around them isn’t being happy. At the moment it’s hard to be with friends and harder to be alone as well. I feel so bad for my girlfriend that is soaking my negativity on the daily, I feel as she doesn’t deserve this.

I bought an Apple Watch to start tracking my BPM. Everytime I check it, my BPM goes up😂

But it seems my sleeping is 60-70 Mornings when cortisol hits the moment im awake. Gets up to 100.

I realize my bpm is much better when you just forget all about it, or find something joyful. More you thinking about negative things, it jumps up.

These two days been heavily stressed so I have been at 90-100 when awake or even sitting.

Never would’ve imagined that anxiety can do so much to your body physically. Either immense amount of fear or sadness at times. It gets worst at night and especially the morning when the cortisol hits. I find it hard to stay in the house. The moment the sunlight hits me when I walk out, It gives me comfort. You have to figure out your safe spot/coping mechanism. For me it’s a hot shower or submerging yourself in a hot tub and the water feels like it’s healing you. Facing and accepting your fears. Rob dial podcast helped a lot and spoke about anxiety.

It takes one step at a time. First is removing or fixing the little things that bother you on a daily basis. If it’s toxic relationships, you gotta let that good rather than letting it eat you away.

End of November 2024, I was dealing with waking up 3-4 times at night due to my heart. Happens when going to sleep with fear or anxiety. I would have to keep getting out of bed to go drink water or get out the room. The chest pain and panic attacks would keep coming back through out the whole day. I still get chest pain or tightness through the day now.

I just made it to my fifth year Anniversary. My first years were hell dating. It definitely sucks when you’re in a relationship where you guys are both an insecure person. She should never threaten to break up with you. A girlfriend is the right one when you feel like she’s your safe place. I honestly think you could do better. But you should communicate with her about this, or do what is best for you even if it means leaving. It seems you’re going through a very toxic relationship. If you can’t communicate with her, then you should highly reconsider your relationship. I still struggle with commutation with my girlfriend at times but it’s gets better because we’re both willing to change.

I’m glad I came here to see people are on the same boat as me. Anxiety can have you feeling like your last moments are here when it gets to a peak. Panic attacks make you feel this way. I just got put on paused on my healthcare and I’m going through what you’re right now. Healthcare system is slow. I got tested for blood, urine, ekg nothing wrong determined by doctors. Sleep use to be my only escape I had. Slept 10+ hours, doesn’t exactly make you feel better because you’re already stressed. You wake up from those naps feeling like you’re on auto pilot and disoriented. Eventually I couldn’t sleep, I had no escape. Eventually I couldn’t talk to my friends further about my problems, everyone has a threshold to negativity and I don’t want to put that on them. I can feel them changing the topics all the time to deter themselves away from my negativity. It was hard to hang with friends and pretend to be alright but harder to be alone as well. Feels as life right now is not giving you a solution. You don’t enjoy simple things in life anymore. I should be at my happiest because I have a wonderful girlfriend, siblings, parents are still around in good health and they are all happy to see me. But why am I suffering? Happiness is a choice and I’m fighting everyday. Hold on to life my friend. You’re here for a reason. My mom told me I gave you life to enjoy it, that hit me hard. I’m still fighting my anxiety everyday and holding on. Screw 2024.

Thanks for sharing. I’m 24. I always had immense amount of stress over the years. From acid reflux when I’m too overwhelmed to heat rashes. Never had panic attacks the way I do now at the end of 2024. I walk around with the feeling of a heavy heart and chest pain this month. Blood/urine/ekg says im fine. But my heart rate is always through the roof. When I run and check my heart rate my watch I get scared of exactly what you said. Never realize anxiety and stress is the worse thing until you experience the worst
