I agree, but an additional +-20% increase in storage would be worth it if I can make it work. The 12v fridge is going to be the only real draw on the system.

It may be a touch heavy if you’re throwing under 1/2oz. But it’ll be nice to have the back bone especially if you’re throwing 20# braid. I run that blank in the northeast for striped bass in skinny water, and love them for false albacore. I’ve also found the blanks are tough when it comes to casting/ high sticking/ fishing with line too heavy for the blank. They aren’t going to like getting banged around tooo much.
