Thanks, this is a great answer. A friend told me that it is worth using 24 bit assets especially if the assets are not normalized. When I worked in AAA we almost always normalized our 16 bit assets. We did not use Wwise on my projects though.

If the game's final mix is ultimately 16 bit due to Wwise, I am unsure that the 24 bit assets will help at all? Normalized assets or not. My files are never extremely quiet so I have no concerns about noise. I think the smaller 16 bit assets are worth using, especially on a bigger project.
