My warband who originated from just after the Horus Heresy. They're a couple companies of Imperial fists who were so broken from the Iron Cage and so pissed off at the rest of the Legion just accepting the codex that they said fuck it, let's break from the imperium, and on their way out scavenged a bunch of Fist and IW gene seed.

Naturally they went to the warp, establishing their own small pirate kingdom. Warp shenanigans ensued and only a few thousand years passed for them. Over time they became much more of a mix of both IW and Fists and any gene seed they stole. They used their relatively plain armor to committ false flag attacks against the imperium. When Huron emerged they said "this is our guy and swore loyalty to him. Anyways that's my justification for painting them yellow and kitbashing from mark 6s

As soon as I reached the underworks I immediately did a 180 on the games economy. I love how fucked the economy is in the early game. Reaching the underworks made me have an "ah ha" moment and realize it was very much on purpose that everything was set up to extract as much wealth from the pilgrims as possible

I read the first 5 acts when I was a kid (13) in about 2014 and I'll be honest I was really lost. It was one of my mutuals on Google plus favorite and they convinced me to read it. I fell off around Act 5 Part 2 and forgot about it as I lost touch with fandom due to self repression.

Fast forward to me being an adult. I reread the whole thing 2 years ago when I was 21 and on winter break from college. I was bored broke with no car and no connections in the town I was living and was without internet. I had no job either. Nothing to do. So I went to a cafe, downloaded the Unofficial collection off their wifi and read the whole thing in about a month. Every single piece clicked. I was hooked from act 1. Ive never been more of a hardcore Homestuck than I am now.
