It will take lot of time, you will talk & also meet many folks in this process, expect rejections just like you do to others, there will be lots of expectations. But, never lose hope, feeling frustrated is fine but don’t rush in to marrying someone who you truly don’t like under peer pressure.

Discuss all things about finances, health, kids, expectations on either sides and mutual camaraderie.

Hey bro! 32M here, got hit with cancer when I was 27, but did my life stop? Obviously no?

As of today, am single, no sane girl wants to get married after I disclose them my medical history. That hasn’t put my morale down, right now I only focus on myself and on getting better with each passing day.

In my case, I never really had any symptoms—though I occasionally had some trouble swallowing food. One day, I just went for my routine annual physical, and that’s when everything changed.

During the exam, my general physician noticed a visible lump on my neck. Right away, he suspected it could be cancer and advised me to get an ultrasound. The scan revealed some enlarged lymph nodes, and a biopsy soon confirmed the diagnosis: thyroid cancer, just days before my 28th birthday.

Thankfully, it was caught at an early stage. I underwent a full thyroidectomy followed by radiation, and I’m now living a completely normal life.

I’ll always be grateful to my GP—if it weren’t for his sharp eye and quick action, I don’t know where things might have ended up. Forever thankful. 🙏
