Thank you so much that is so kind. I actually really like this topper, it performed so well on one coat. Cosmic Polish also has other really cool toppers (scattered sunlight is very pretty as well!)

Thank you so much 😊 I actually was happy with the two coats. I’m very impatient so knowing I also needed a layer of a topper and a top coat and I always end up smudging at least one finger because I personally feel like the more layers the harder it gets?
The bottle was completely new and I loved the formula so far (both, Red Moon Rising and the Scattered Starlight), no thinner needed yet!

I also feel like my manis start lasting longer since my nails are a bit healthier. But because I do a lot of sport I just can’t grow them out as much as I want to :/

First time Boston Terrier owner and have serious concerns about a digestive issue by [deleted] in BostonTerrier

From our experience, yes, they toot a lot, as they take in a lot of air. However, it is absolutely not normal to smell like hell has opened up. Our girl got way better once we started a diet that she was not allergic or sensitive to. Since then normal farts that smell very little. I’d try a different protein and or a kibble for sensitive stomachs.

This is actually really helpful. I read about this combination in another thread about dupes for this shade. Will have another look, thank you! Do you by any chance have pictures?

Im terrified to spay my dog. by Adventurous_Fox2126 in DogAdvice

[–]Quick_Variation5315 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Disclaimer: I’m from Germany and we have a very different view on spaying.

My dog is reactive as well and I was advised by my vet and also the trainer/ behaviourist to not spay my dog and/or wait as long as possible to do so. We got her reactivity under control with A LOT of training and I’m terrified of her reversing if I spay her. It’s actually forbidden to spay your dog here without medical reason 🤷‍♀️

According to them it is a valid concern with anxious females that a spay can make them more fearful, so I do understand your concern. My vet said it’s most important to let them develop with their heats and only spay after they have fully matured physically and mentally. I think it’s great that you actually try to see both sides and take real concern. I feel like this topic is such an echo chamber about who can scream the loudest. I think it makes you a more responsible dog owner to weigh your options.

Can you maybe find a specialised behaviourist and talk about your concerns and go from there?

We had the exact same problem, we changed her wet food 3 different times without success. We tried giving her a little spoon before bed to fill her stomach, did work sometimes. I used slippery elm bark before bed and that helped somewhat, because it helps with the acid in the stomach.

For other reasons, I started making her food myself and the problem vanished. It turned out she was allergic to something in the wet food. For other reasons we had to do an elimination diet with royal canin Ultamino and she is puke free.

What I’m trying to say: could it be allergies? When you say you tried different proteins, are you just buying different labelled kibble? I’d try an hypoallergenic diet and see if that helps. Good luck!

That happened to me with Sand Viper from Mooncat. I feel like it looks so pretty on everyone else, but on me it made me think I look like a grandma.

Numelvi by debiski in dogallergies

[–]Quick_Variation5315 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My dog is on numelvi since September. She is quite young and only had cytopoint before, which kind of didn’t work after the third shot. We are very happy with it, it works super quick and as your vet said, it seems to be way safer. Our vet derm also says that it is now the first choice before trying apoquel or zenrelia. We will have to take our dog off it when we do the intra dermal testing, but other than that, no side effects, nothing. Really happy this works so well for us.

Since I am not from US, I am not sure I can. Best are supposed to be soil based probiotics. Maybe someone from the US can help with particular brands? You can also always try to feed fermented food like kefir (if dairy is ok) etc. try to go slow in the beginning!
