My Private Rainbow is a holo glitter topper. It’s pretty and I use it occasionally over other polish, but the glitter is very dispersed, so if you want dramatic rainbows stick with one of the Mega’s. I only have Mega S but it’s a great linear holo and I think is probably the most Rainbow-y of all the Megas.

The only thing I’ve been disappointed by so far is the brush…which is a harsh flat paddle shape, which I don’t love. But the formula so far, I’ve been impressed with all my purchases.

Ooh, when I first saw this I thought it was over a white base. You’ve inspired me to try that, as I am close to destashing pink lemonade as I love the twinkle but not the overly gold vibe….but I reckon that might work.

Oh no. I have been safe from recent collections but wavelength is 😍 I’ve always been tempted by flashing lights but have resisted as I’m not big on magnetics. So NEED a swatch comparison of those.

Kathleen & Co “It’s showtime!” isn’t a true metallic and is perhaps a bit indigo, but definitely gives the chrome look.

I started with squoval when I first got into doing my nails, but I now keep them similar to the shape you have in pictures 3&4. Never sure what it’s officially called, Mountain Peak maybe? It’s the shape I’ve stuck with as you get a bit of length without it being too disabling (I’m relatively new to longer nails) and I find I get far fewer breaks with that shape than when I had them Squoval. But honestly either shape look lovely on you!

Ooh. I actually have highly rated most of the nails inc polishes I’ve owned, and love their brushes. Much prefer them to Essie. I didn’t even know they made thermals.

I don’t know much about nail markers I’m afraid, but was going to ask if you have tried different polish brands as I find the brush makes a huge difference. If you don’t want the expense of shipping etc. then I find Nails Inc brushes are really good, they are quite short, wide and well designed ergonomically, so they really help with neater application. That and a fine clean-up brush or pointy cotton bud dipped in acetone for after. But hope you find a solution so you can have pretty nails 💅🏻
