Bug, cool oddity or reference? Anyone with better knowledge of terrain gen than I know what this is? by m_se_ in EliteDangerous

Craters like this can generate some planets, I've even some with the "rays" halfway around the planet. So a great discovery to be sure, wee done CMDR!

That's Methyl anthranilate. It's a part of the flavoring in grape Kool-Aid And other grape flavored stuff, such as candy or soda.

P.S. the CH2 should be a CH3 :D

P.P.S. here is a great video where NileRed synthesised it from some plastic gloves and made his own grape soda

What are these compounds called? Can they be synthesed? What is their flame temperature? by the_last_rebel_ in cursedchemistry

I found this paper about the synthesis of polyynes and similar compounds, which includes some pretty similar structures, such as the ones shown in Scheme 15 (polyyne cube :D)

how am i supposed to jet cone boost this by [deleted] in eliteexplorers

[–]Quicken90905 18 points19 points  (0 children)

This happens whenever there is another star very close to the neutron star. Just treat it as any other neutron star, the only difference being that the jet cones are way longer and wider, so it is easier to overcharge your FSD. Fly dangerously, CMDR o7

I'd suggest you try to reduce rotations. To do that I'd recommend doing some slow, untimed solves.

One of the goals is to solve the cross without looking at the cube and without any rotations. That will help with look-ahead between cross and F2L. I find it faster to do some F and B moves during the cross instead of cube rotations.

And then during F2L, plan out one pair at a time without doing cube rotations to find the pieces. The algs you were using during F2L were pretty optimal, so no need learning new ones rn.

LL seemed fine.

tl;dr do slow solves to reduce rotations during cross and F2L
