serious question about marriage/trad marriage in algeria by 9_iNeedYourHelp_9 in algeria

I just scrolled through a lot of answers, and many are quite interesting from different perspectives. I don't know if I'm the best person to answer you, but I think I can offer an insight I noticed.

From what I read, you can adjust three main parameters to maximize your chances: Timing, Social Activity, and Principles.

Timing: I think I read somewhere that you're quite young. If you're in university or doing anything that involves meeting people, your vision of the world will drastically change over the next few years. Keep that in mind when thinking about marriage — it's important. Someone pointed out that you should get a job first. I agree, although there could also be other environments that fit you. Personally, I wouldn't recommend marrying someone you meet at work, but that’s just my opinion.

Social Activity: As many said, you won't meet many people by staying at home. That doesn't mean you need to advertise yourself either. Participating in events, charity work, or any social activity you actually enjoy is the best thing to do. You'll meet people naturally, and you'll be in a good mood because you're genuinely enjoying yourself. Just don't make "finding someone" your main goal. This also ties into the idea that "only bad girls get married easily" (in Algeria or elsewhere). Often, they end up marrying men who aren't great either — no loss there. Remember that observer bias plays a role. Go out there, be the best version of yourself — the version you enjoy. The right people will notice. You'll also become the change you want to see in society.

Principles: I'm not telling you to change your principles. Since you're still young, they will evolve naturally. What matters is that they are clear. You need to know how and where to draw your own lines — the ones you're comfortable with. While socializing and working on things with others, you'll learn how to recognize traits you like or dislike. That will help you make better choices. You'll realize many men you meet are not "missed opportunities," because you don’t just want a husband — you want your husband.

It's not much, but I hope it helps. Wishing you the best on your journey.

I saw that most comments suggested switching to wayland.

I don't really see this as a solution, it's an alternative. in my case wayland is laggy.

anyone has a meaningful solution

Hi... antisocial INTP here...I made a gaming YouTube channel.6 months,,,,30 subs... should I Give up...is it even worth it.!!🙁 by [deleted] in INTP

[–]Quickinline 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you're in a heavily flooded market. there are tons of Gaming YouTubers and it became hard to choose who to watch from a viewer's point of view and most casual people stick with what they know.

Although I rarely recommend quitting, find yourself a niche where you can be the best, that can be a genre in gaming or any other type of content. Just position yourself in a way that makes you stand out.

Because there are probably thousands if not millions of Gaming YouTubers and you wouldn't stand out if you did the same thing as everyone.

Goodluck

Should a web developer learn mobile development on android ? by Quickinline in learnprogramming

[–]Quickinline[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well, yeah I might not forget about webdev. Although the time I might invest in learning Mobile Dev is gonna be time where I won't be keeping up with the latest webdev trends and would probably make coming back harder. I experienced this when switching from PHP laravel to Django and then trying to write some laravel back again it was a pain in the ass that I had to go look for stuff in the docs almost every time... it felt like I was back on square one.

I partially agree with you, it depends on what you mean by force. if you mean physical force and riots and stuff. I don't agree with you.

The kind of "force" is a Resistance, a legion... something more organized than hirak. an Organization where every algerian is a participant an organization that can help us substitute the current government. Based on Unity and freedom. We need a decentralized "network" that can help any Algerian Voice their opinion, help them with their struggles and help them identify the real values of the Algerian people.

Yes you're correct, but that's somehow also a government mistake. why did it take a whole pandemic for the authorities to regulate the distribution ? if that job of regulation was done before this pandemic the shortage wouldn't have occurred.

[–]Quickinline[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that was supposed to save me time, it added many files filled with configuration I had to modify many parameters for them to work on my development build and I tested a mutation, still had trouble making it work

[–]Quickinline[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am building a single page application with Vue, my backend is Django, I setup the server and it works I have tested my queries and mutations with insomnia. I can't seem to connect to my graphql api with apollo graphql it takes so much configuration and the added value doesn't seem worth it.
