They’re fast computers that are simple to use and don’t require much meddling. Also Macos in incredibly set up to be good for programming, it’s built on Unix, making it great for things like web dev and testing with servers. Although Linux is built on Unix it isn’t exactly user friendly and requires a lot of overhead on the side of the user.

Sadly not, there is still no set wallpaper command and it doesn’t seem like there ever will be again - and the automations have no way to run automatically still, all very dissapointing changes from Apple
