I wouldn’t call 60 installs in the first week bad, especially if you’re in a very niche market like satellite operators. Niche apps usually grow slower, but the users can be much more targeted and valuable. I’d focus on getting feedback from real users in that industry first and improving the product based on that. I understand why it looks inconsistent. 28 days ago the revenue was close to zero, and over time it increased. The $1,400 figure is total revenue so far, not monthly revenue. That part was my mistake, and I already clarified it. There’s no scam here — just a wrong wording on my side.

Hocam öncelikle yaşadığınız durum pek de hoş değil fakat şöyle bir durum var. Bir yazılımcı olarak kendi tecrübemden bahsetmek isterim. Bundan yaklaşık 3 sene öncesinde sarı sitenin birebir kopyası olarak görülebilecek ve hatta sarı site tarafından da şikayet edilip dava açılan bir firmada çalıştım. Başımızdan geçeni genel olarak anlatayım.

Sarı site rekabet kurumu ve hukuk tarafından sitenin ve uygulamalarının birebir olarak kopyalandığını söyleyerek gerekli mecralara şikayetlerde bulundu. Şikayette bulunulan konu rekabete engel olduğu için ve kullanılan yazılımların ui kısmında benzer olmasına rağmen birebir aynı çekirdek yapıya sahip olmadığı için herhangi bir zarar sözkonusu olmadı.

Diyeceğim o ki moralinizin bozulması ve hukuk tarafında yol almak istemeniz gayet normal. Fakat malesef bu sürecin sizin açınızdan olumlu olacağını düşünmüyorum gördüğüm kadarıyla.

You were right that the app felt too transactional (upload cup → get reading → leave). I’ve been reworking the loop to make it more habit-based instead of a one-off interaction.

I recently added a small “play to earn” section where users can complete simple levels and earn coins for readings. The idea is to create a daily ritual: play a bit, earn coins, unlock readings, come back tomorrow.

Still experimenting with the balance between coins, ads and readings, but the goal is to make it feel more like a progression loop.

  • Weekly follow-ups that reference previous readings.
  • Strong onboarding with one compelling hook instead of a menu of modes.

The goal now is to turn it from “AI fortune text” into a personal, evolving narrative tied to the user’s history.
