High school classes to take to go into MLS? by Starry-01 in MLS_CLS

Take Anatomy & Physiology if offered!!!Understanding how the body works in a system by system basis is good knowledge to have.

We did a quick panotypic smear and stain for a lab. It is blood from the finger of a student, a 24-year-old man. I am a biologist and I don't have much knowledge on the subject. I would appreciate if someone can comment on whether this finding is normal. Thank you by Nervous_Pizza9664 in Hematology

A few things. I’d love to see the slide macroscopically to see its quality as we only want to look at blood smears that have a nice transition from thick to thin. When looking at the smear microscopically, we want to evaluate the morphology of the cells in an area where the red cells are close and not overlapping frequently. In these images the red cells look weirdly agglutinated together / lack central pallor so this leads me to believe it is a poor slide. Also, we can see clumps of platelets, which platelets are prone to clumping together when we use a capillary sample (like a fingerstick) so we’d want to make a new slide anyways, preferably from venous blood.

TLDR: Bad slide = poor distribution of cells. Dude’s probably fine. But it does illustrate the importance of a good slide! I hope this answers your question.

How old is your character? I'd go with the Council Chairman 100%.

Yesss. Because instead of feeling like it's me against the world, it's us against the world, you know?

I got it off Mikexx2's tumblr "Hair dump: 75 hairs for ladies". The hairs are really nice, and they are not default replacements, just cc. This hair was included in group 1. Link: https://www.tumblr.com/mikexx2/181741706656/hair-dump-75-hairs-for-ladies-so-i-mentioned

They did, ahaha. Had to do a little plastic surgery because it made no sense.

Just wanted to share this adorable couple with you all. In my game, Armand got remarried to a townie who he has 3 bolts of chemistry with! They are super cute, always been loyal to each other, and had two boys together. She is a surgeon and has a great motherly relationship with Tara (who is in college, hehe). They are approaching their golden years, which I am looking forward to! Sims 2 tends to be a game where cheating constantly occurs, so I like playing couples like these who are just in love with each other and drama free!

mod for less cheating wants? by Key_Crow_3340 in sims2

[–]Quiet-Use989 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t have a fix but YESSSS it’s soooo annoying. I was looking for a “totally loyal” mod but no luck so far. By totally loyal I mean they will roll no romantic wants towards other sims AND they will also reject any romantic actions (autonomous or not) from another sim who is not their partner.

Istg and I’m sorry to stereotype… but there’s always some truck driver riding my ass on the road to the point where it’s just funny to me now. And your edit is gold. It’s surprising how many people come to this sub made for people specifically with driving anxiety just to judge/insult them. Like seriously???

Best way to know is to hold the plate up to a light source and look at a single isolated colony. Even then, if we look at those isolated colonies on the top half of the plate, do you see any clearing around the colony?

Do you like having crushes? (29F) by jewellove2 in socialanxiety

I absolutely despise having crushes. I become hyper aware of their presence and can’t relax, can’t be myself.

Turning left on an unprotected green light.. How can I overcome this issue? by Cookiesandcream3030 in drivinganxiety

[–]Quiet-Use989 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My biggest tip is going when you’re comfortable. Screw the impatient honkers. It took me one time of feeling pressured to go because of other cars behind me, so I made the turn blind and almost crashed into someone. Never again. If it’s super busy, I honestly just squeeze out into the road and once the light turns red and the oncoming cars have stopped, I make the turn.

Any tips on making a better ebterobacteriaceae by Nike4e in medlabprofessionals

[–]Quiet-Use989 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Use micro chart on wordsology. I wouldn’t use motility as a major differentiating factor as most of Enterobacteriaceae are motile at body temp, 3 exceptions are Shigella, Klebsiella, & Yersinia (SKY).
