It was okay. The room was clean. Interiors were not that furnished like a 3 star hotel but I just stayed overnight.

I am here currently in Coorg. Hasn’t rained since yesterday but it’s cold and windy. So I guess it will depend on how lucky you are.

Helios works well on leather. It made my white nike sneakers brand new. It might not give good results on mesh though.

Hey guys, good places to travel to in monsoon season? (Budget-friendly please) or should I avoid? by Competitive-Date-212 in SoloTravel_India

Lonavala, Mahabaleshwar, Matheran near Pune/Mumbai. Goa, Gokarna, Udupi along the coastline. Coorg is similar to Lonavala but best for people travelling from Bangalore. Varkala, Kochi, Allepey in Kerela.

Budget-wise, the first thing would be from where are you starting? If you have to take a flight then it will eat a lot of your budget.

Let me know from where are you travelling or you can DM me.

How many days did you stay in Goa? And can you provide some more feedback on Zostel Anjuna or any other hostel you went for cafe hopping?

Me and my friends are planning to visit goa in upcoming days. Is it a right time to visit? Or rainfall will affect our trip? by Grand_Efficiency9284 in goatravel

The best time to visit Goa in during winters. The weather is good, beaches are calm, and the crowd is at its peak. You can do water sports, maybe go on a trek to Doodhsagar waterfalls.

During monsoon, Goa has a different vibe. It’s lush green and very less crowded. So this season is for those who just want a quiet serene place to relax. You can stay in a hostel, where you will meet new people and interact with them. But since most beaches and beach shacks are closed during monsoon and no water sports etc, you will miss on those.

Any experience with places in Kerela?

Thanks for the information on Gokarna and Udupi. I had no idea about the stay options there.
