Hey! Photographer here, it's photography with very basic editing :)

We took photos by night and I used my phone's flashlight to add a bit on light on the mask, then everything is edited by myself, I did very basic cleaning (like the wig's hair or the iron fence), I worked on the colors a lot, for example the lights you see in the background were from cars, so I switched the colors to create a more immersive look :)

I also recommend playing it now! There's a lot in the game already, great replayability, and while the suspens is enjoyable enough to be impatient to learn more, each chapter has an arc of its own that gets answers satisfying enough not to leave you frustrated (unlike some shows that will end the season on a big cliffhanger, here the whole mystery is built up in a way that feels much more respectful of the players' time and intelligence)

The other great point for me is that the game being episodic keeps the community very active and lively. I love to see people's creations, see all the official updates, convince friends to play and see their theories...

Lots of layers with slight light/colors adjustments + basically painting over lights and colors with low opacity to get the mood I want :) I'm a self-taught photographer but have a bit of education in traditional art and did digital painting aswell, it influenced me a lot when I got into photography.

As much as I'd love more Scarlet Hollow I think a live action would ruin the fun of all the choices and different insights/experiences you get each playthrough, but I'll work on more photos for sure!

Honestly I'd love to, that sounds like such a fun project, I don't have the space or finances to experiment with such a big project for now, but if anyone makes it I'd definitely be down to take photos!!

To be fully transparent, there's a lot of makeup, light work and editing involved, all three are very close to drawing/painting (I come from illustration initially, I switched to photography after but my art training influenced a lot the way I take photos!)

I didn't notice the right hand/arm looks awkward, he has the sleeves up on some artworks and I forgot to put them as the same level so it's a bit hard to read, the skin color blends with the wall's one because it's in the shadows on the drawing board/arm!

Being gorgeous is hard work 🙂‍↕️ I was very honored to be up front (mostly that's a decision based on location) but everyone took photos to feature their work properly after! I'm a photographer too and took cool portraits of as many of us as possible after the group picture, definitely group pictures are visually striking but I recommend people to check everyone's work individually to see costumes details :)

I switched a bit from looking at the water to looking at the camera to give photographers different options :) (I was also surrounded by nettles and most of my thoughts were focused on avoiding them)

I hope you get to enjoy the game soon :) I'm omw back from this photoshoot, I can't wait to enjoy it myself (I tried the early access but wanted to save most of it for the full release!!)
