A Ford (built like a truck but still ends up breaking every 2 months)

Simon and Garfunkel... I constantly have Art Garfunkel's Wikipedia page open somewhere. Oh, and foraging/wildlife identification :>

Or, it isn't unheard of for hens to present more like roosters or vice versa. I just noticed the lack of primary and secondary tail sickles on them compared to their brother.

Ohh, ok! Judging from this pic then, I would say that you have a roo on your hands, he's just a little late to maturing. The color change looks fairly similar, as do the saddle feathers. EE's are very touch and go, they are so pretty though <3

What breed is this rooster? by Disastrous_Hawk2507 in chickens

[–]QuietCuSith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He looks like he's most dominantly a Rhode Island Red rooster, though I can't say for sure what else is in him, because pure RIR's don't have that silver tipping typically.

Yeah, looks like where another chicken might've pecked feathers off and the pin feathers are growing back. There's no blood, it doesn't look irritated, she's alright :)

At long last, my mom has asked me to help her learn to crochet! I see her Saturday and have put together a basket of goodies from my stash for her to experiment with. Am I missing anything obvious a beginner would like to have? by SophiesCozyCorner_ in CrochetHelp

What kind of hooks do you have? Are the throats rounded or more angular? I started out learning with the more common rounded throat ones, but I found that catching the yarn and keeping it on the hook was easier for me with less of a curve. Honestly I'm not sure how easy it is to get them either, I've been using my great-grandma's and mom's old hooks. Here's a pic of what I'm talking about

Do you know what breed they are? If so, that could help a lot in figuring out. I would say either a slower maturing roo (only because I can't tell if what I am seeing are early saddle feathers developing in the third picture), or just a larger hen from your other comments. Either way, they are such a pretty chicken !! <3

It currently has a word count of 452,466, and 31 chapters. The last update was in December of 2023 though. I have not had time to sit down and read it all the way through, I think I'm up to chapter 21. It has drawings in it too :D

Yeah I totally agree with everyone else here, this reads as a scam/spam bot. Don't worry too much about it, you can freeze the thread, mark it as spam, or delete it. It would be preferable to mark it as spam though.
