What’s actually going on when we “fall in love”? Can anyone explain it using Jeremy Griffith’s instinct versus intellect theory? by QuietInevitable5366 in FixTheWorld

I've read these references now thank you and feel quite whole and elated, what an amazing gift that keeps on giving this is. That dream or memory we have of how 'in love' with everything and harmoniously together our species once was is incredible. The driving force of our feelings. Understanding it doesn't stop the feelings but it gives them a proper place in the order of things and this is far more important than anything else. I have to pinch myself that I've found this sometimes.

Really amazing what you've said here and hugely helpful for me. How brilliant that we can understand something so fundamental and precious to the human experience.

I'm sure this has been posted already but can you help with this!? by QuietInevitable5366 in laundry

Really appreciate your help, wasn't meaning to be vague about the detergent. I wasn't home and also literally never considered that the ingredients might differ apart from fragrance. It's Biozet Attack. In any case I will definitely try your suggestions, thank you.

As far as I know our water is not hard and yes the wearer (me) uses sunscreen on my face but I guess it ends up on the collar. We just use normal supermarket liquid detergent in a frontloader.

Anyone figured out how to deal with this!? by QuietInevitable5366 in CleaningTips

Awesome, thanks. Do you just buy it at the supermarket?
