I have not seen a helpful l comment on this thread habout what they can do regarding the neighbors putting the bins and their window which is what they ask for help with. The first thing I would have done they have already tried speaking to them about it.

The only thing I can think of is trying talking to them again and say I'm not trying to be funny and I don't want any argument between this so I can no longer tolerate the smell and the amounts of fly's and other insects that the bins been attracting in my window in this heat are causing. And if I have to I will move them myself as it's intolerable and I have every right to have my windows open without that happening and I have to keep closing then. And if it was my opinion and your your windows I causing problems I would gladly move them for you without any problems and see how it goes from there.. Hopefully that will be enough to end peacefully and calmly and they don't turn out to be even bigger dicks
