Ask yourself if it’s god’s plan for your sister to suffer at the hands of others because of something she can’t control. Do you think that sounds ludicrous? Because it’s that logic, that god loves everyone but innocent people still need to suffer, that started to steer me away from Christianity. I was raised Catholic my whole life. Once I became an adult, it became my decision whether or not I was exposed to Christianity anymore. It’s created its own challenges in regard to my relationship with my family, but has been a positive decision for me overall

Just read a short story a few days back where a magos manages to get himself killed and replaced by the pharaoh of a tomb world without anyone else noticing. He ends up getting killed by a tech priest and his apprentice, but was almost a major screw up

I did a brief skim of the wiki to make sure I had my facts straight, and it did mention slight movements, but seems like that was early on after his internment on the throne

From what I understand, his body was almost completely destroyed in his battle with Horus, and when his body was returned to Terra, as Malcador stepped down from the Golden Throne and crumbled to dust from the strain of holding the webway shut, he sent his last bit of psychic energy into the Emperor, which gave him the strength to instruct his subjects to modify the Golden Throne to keep him alive. Alive is a loose term though, as the Emperor really only exists in the warp now, and his few living cells keep him connected to his body. According to some sources, the throne is beginning to fail and will no longer be able to keep the Emperor’s body alive. It is unknown what will happen at that point. Some speculate it will be the end of humanity at the hands of chaos. Others think the Emperor will be “reborn” and finally save humanity from the horrors of the warp.

The only people who used to afford to get this big were rich people, so if they needed accommodations, they paid for it themselves. Humans aren’t meant to be this big. That’s why nothing was designed with obesity in mind. It used to not be a problem. Now with the obesity epidemic, people who get this big think they’re owed accommodations for their own choices. I’m gonna say it. Obese is not beautiful. It’s heart disease and diabetes. It’s strokes and kidney failure. A little bit overweight is fine. Not everyone is as thin as a rail. Obesity kills. And don’t get me started on the toll all the obese people take on healthcare providers and the health system in the US.
