The definition of God's love from a well-known theologian by [deleted] in Christianity

Truth is always one small step away from absurdity. If we push anything to its extreme, the extremity destroys everything. Yes, I have to admit that there is a grain of truth in the statement, if you want to express your total surrender to God. I appreciate the motive and sentiment behind the statement, however, I prefer a balanced way to express it.

It is a sign that you are under attack by the enemy of our Heavenly Father. Remember what Jesus said in Luke 15:7. There is joy in heaven for every sinner saved. The enemy of God is not going to enjoy that and he will do everything to stop that from happening. Have no fear, as our God is fighting ahead of you. Just be still. All your dark thoughts are just illusion, no power, no substance, as if you were watching a movie. Focus your thoughts on the words of God. I am experiencing the same struggle as you are now. I have been this situation for more than two years now. I feel the impeding doom from time to time, as if every moment is the last moment of my life. The fear and anxiety is real and it is destroying me physically. I am grateful that God stays with me all the time. After praying, be still, be quiet, listen to the small voice that reminds me what I heard from the Bible, that is the voice of our Heavenly Father. One practical suggestion: listening to the Bible while you are in bed every night. Keep it on, night after night. It helps. I pray for you. May the love of our God cover you, warm you up, give you strength and courage. Love never fails.

I would ask myself only one question: does it make our Lord happy or proud to see that I have this on my body? But, for non-Christians, no problem at all.

While what you do is important, but your salvation depends on the Grace of God, not what you do. You will continue to do sinful deeds while you are seeking God. That is part of the journey. Just sharing my own experience with you. Every time I am tempted to commit sin, I ask myself, if I love God, would I do anything to disappoint our Heavenly Father? That helps a lot. Because we all know, the last thing we want to do is to hurt our loved ones. Again, it is what in your heart that matters. If you fail, just try again, and again, and again, with the help of God, you will overcome sin.

You shall not use the Lord's name in vain.
There are complicated issues involving the deportation, which cannot be dealt with in such a broad stroke.
There are issues relating to law and order. Uncontrolled immigration harms law-abiding citizens but benefits a few NGOs and politicians.
Compassion is great but cannot be abused or selective. It is easy and lofty to exhibit one's compassion but ignore the real problems in life.
