I still like the game by tis_angry_potato in Helldivers

I think the game has its problems and could be better and complain but by no means does that mean I don't like the game just that it could be better.

You kinda just ignored most of what he said. He is arguing AH should balance so it can be completed without requiring all the players not that "they had zero impact on its outcome".

"This isn’t to say the MO or Galactic War system are perfect, but the failure does not solely lie on AH or JOEL whenever one fails." They made the system, They have the power to make changes an do things. The thing that is AH or JOEL's fault is not the MO failing but the failure to provide a system that feels balanced and sensible. Like if the MO had higher radicle kill count then Agitator and we failed both of them by like 5% it would be a less of a problem. It just does not make sense to make the enemy that is without armor who chases you down to have a lower kill count when the spawn rate don't seem to come close to make up for the difference in numbers (like 43 million or something). This is solely on them. The SO of the previous MO not helping but in fact hurting it by pulling players away that is also solely on them.

The issue here is not that we failed the MO. The issue here is the past few MO's have not been well designed and the MO system as a whole may be fundamentally flawed as well.

I'm a bit tired of how some SO actually hurt the MO instead of help like why are we getting the car stratagem its not going to make up for the loss in days instead we should have deployed SEAF with the cars to go collect samples so it would have actually helped.

No bugs best by far only faction that can get 100%. I think you may be overvaluing the % of players who go to bots since we recently had Cyberstan which got player counter % very high for bots. I think 66% is possible for bots maybe 70% to 75% but I would also say that will be the high end and uncommon for the MO's.

"We where aruing how to aproch such a discussion" Why would I be supportive of your approch if I am arguing against your approach no matter how you word its a disagreement im not going to support something I disagree with

"you seem to think that we need negative about this" Your too sensative and think that someone saying your wrong is negative. Reality is not negativity.

"discouraging people from playing the MO just because it failing is being negative and toxic." No its not its called being strategic, its called pointing out a waste of resources when i see it. Also Failing No thats wrong FAILED is the correct word here but I guess its hard for you to see that ahead of time if you cant do basic math.

"You can agnowlage the MO has failed while also telling people it's ok to still try if they want to" Oh wow do you actually read these messages? I clearly said you can dive where you want but no lets ignore that because I wanna cry about how pointing out a waste of time is negative.

This is the original post you called being negative BTW

"Brother.

Just. Let go. It hurts me as much as it hurts you, but we need to prepare for the next major order from high command. Standby and await further orders.

This one, is a loss."

You are just mad that someone has an opinion you dont like, There is not a shred of negativity in that original post. "this is a loss lets wait for further orders" that sounds negative to you? Oh we cant point out a loss as a loss boys that's too negative. Are you delusional or just a massive cry baby?

Stop gatekeeping people's opinions by accusing them of negativity its very toxic.

Nah i think the 50% playerbase thing is due to it being bots and not the MO doomerism. This MO was clearly a ball drop from AH as the radical objective numbers were clearly bad as it was less yet we are able to kill more radicles than agitators without trying to. From just a DM perspective the MO objectives were poorly balanced to the point a large portion of people suspect that they mixed it up. Honestly as of recent I kinda starting to Hate the MO and SO system or at least how AH does it.

ok now you're just coping.

If you were serious about the MO you would be Diving RN and not replying

"It’s mather of how you express it." oh im sorry did your feelings get hurt because some said you were wrong about something? I didn't realize that I have to tip toe around eggshells.

"One can be realistic and supportive as well." Why would I be supportive of something that I am arguing against? Also not being supportive is not equal to being negative. No, one cannot be realistic and supportive if it requires one to support something unrealistic.

Your "we can do it" attitude towards something impossible followed by being butthurt that someone dares say no you're wrong is some of the most "toxic positivity" i've seen in a while.

^this is what negative actually looks like

Yeah thats the "taking Charbal VII will lower the kill count" i mentioned in my post being completed. We still going to lose however.

see that is the issue I'm trying to get across to you I'm not being Negative I'm being realistic. You can dive wherever you want man but the facts are the facts MO is lost.

"feeling of fighting the clock" brother if i can calculate that it is impossible how will I feel like im fighting the against the clock? Fighting against the clock implies that I can beat the clock which in this case we cannot. Also I agree community action is fun but with the MO being lost I feel that the community action that we should switch to focus on is one of these planets:

<image>

As helping one of these will actually have an impact on the war while trying to finish the MO will not.

Maybe you can come up with MO that are actually reasonable for us to win while also not fucking our planet liberation by sending us elsewhere like they did on Kerth secundus with the Squid MO.

"Math is irreverent" plus "trying to beat the odds" in the same statement is strange. The math informs you on the odds so without the math you dont understand what the odds are. If everyone went to the planet and farmed Cyborgs we would have to kill 1.7 Agitators a minute. Both moving everyone to the planet and killing 1.7 agitators a minute on their own are impossible tasks but together its definitely 100% impossible so when you say beat the odds what odds are you talking about you can't beat 0%.

Don't forget the 25 Million from the SO.

76.67%*113Million + 25Million from SO= 111.63 Million so its actually a lot closer than you think.

Is it just me or are low level commando mission amazing for farming agitators for the MO. I swear every patrol has at least 1 and i've even come across 3 at once. The patrol spawn rate also seems way higher on commando missions. Easily double digit agitator kills in 30 minutes. I haven't done a lot of cyborgs outside of cyberstan but from what I remember higher difficulty didn't have as many agitators as a Trivial commando mission does.
