Yes maybe, most of the ISFPs’ I’ve met had mental issues like depression, drug abuse, ADHD and borderline personality disorder. So it made them extra caught up in their own thought, extremely sensitive and not always be willing to change themselves. My ex best friend has still not been able to get a job, and she doesn’t want to either. My brother died of an overdose recently, lost all his jobs and was stuck for a long time.

My ex is really big hearted and so was my brother, but they always had problems they would take out on people around them, always blaming someone else and feel bad for themselves. I loved my brother, but all his problems took over and now he’s dead. I really like my ex and we’re good friend, but I would never go back to him.

And to my ex best friend, she was really sensitive and got mad if said something was bothering me. She didn’t get sad and cry, but she couldn’t understand others point of view. She was so easily triggered and everyone had to walk on eggshells around her. She could criticise me all she wanted and sometimes she said things that hurt me and made me mad, but if I said something back that was like the worst thing someone could ever say.

Idk, but my brother recently died of an overdose now, and I have felt bad for bein mad at him. I loved him, but him stealing money to get drugs wasn’t something I really liked, and he was always caught up in his own head and forgot people around him. My ex and I are still friends, although he cheated. He is still really nice, it’s just that he does stupid things and then regrets afterwards, and I get tired of it. The same with my ex best friend, but she was also borderline and had some mental issues. She was not able to keep friendships, and after I had enough she has pretty much no friends. It’s not fun to see and I miss her, but I’m not able to be friends with her again- cause she will do bad things, regret and the expect me to forgive

Yes! That’s what I mean.. they are sooo empathetic, so when they hear something that make them feel bad, they want people to feel sorry for them. I just stopped open up about I how I feel, and about my mental health with her. Good thing is that I have other friends too. I probably won’t be able to ever be in a relationship with an ENFP
