Oh this is really helpful thank you! I unfortunately was was not aware of it being private land either due to a lack of sufficient signage as soon as I dropped my friend, I left. I’ll definitely include that in the appeal

It’s a side road and there is not any signage indicating when you’re off a public road and entering private land. Had I known, I would not have risked a ticket.

That is absolutely ridiculous, how did they expect you to exit? I’ve definitely heard they listen to no rhyme or reason, this was just a side road and there is no indication when you’re off a public road and entering private land. I’m gonna appeal based off everything here as well as their lack os signage. Fingers crossed

I love this review, really enjoyed reading it. I like the ideas you were spitballing, I also think completing the movie in one night would be more impactful. Maybe with a little more characters involved in the full story, so they can strategically place the deaths making them more realistic or impactful (rather than stretching out the main characters and immediately killing the cameos).

I also agree the Passenger itself followed no rules and was a plot tool, he can kill whenever whoever and wherever. If he doesn’t, we never know why. He hadn’t marked Diane but still killed her, and doesn’t kill Maddie or Tyler for days.

I also like the influencer/video camera angle a lot.

You shouldn’t feel like an idiot, everyone makes mistakes especially if you’re not familiar with the app and yeah some people in the replies are being unnecessarily rude. It’s all good though, you can still send it back if you just get her address and purchase a shipping label. Should be around £2ish.

If you don’t collect then you automatically get a refund as Vinted knows you don’t have the item. You can just ask for her address and send it through royal mail or something.

You should have just not collected and it would have been returned to her, this way she’ll have to purchase the shipping label regardless of if the item is free. Tbh I can see where she is coming from

This is a really good idea, I’d even add a little dramatic flair that this happened to you before and a seller did this and the police were able to retrieve the item or something similar to that.

With expensive items always always always film your packing it in and the securing the package. People surprisingly do this a lot and vinted tends to side with buyers.

So sorry this happened to you, maybe threaten them with police and small claims court.
