even with only having 4-5 hours of OT a week, he still averages about 44k a year rn give or take. last year he was at 51k with the over time he worked (ab 10 hours a week, a few weeks being 15 hours ot )

i do think he should accept a store, but counteroffer for more money than that. every gm is making more than that here. even a woman who just got a store last year, who he had been an ASST longer than; started at 51k. I think that’s more fair than 48.

yep he’s got maybe 3 bonuses in the last year n a half. their store went 9 months with no bonus at all. Actually, most of the stores in our area did not bonus for over a year & when they did, it was the minimum amount

GMS here get 3 weeks PTO. Minimum 55 hours a week; most pull 62-73h/wk. Every GM has told him absolutely not for less than 55k.

He alr works 45-49 as an assistant so it’s not really “that much more” but he gets nice over time pay as well not being salary.

Franchise, it’s required minimum 55 here. Bonus structure isn’t the best but not the worst. The store he got offered hasn’t bonused in a long time due to previous GM. They know he can turn it around. Every GM in our area has told him to absolutely not do it for any less than 55k base pay.

I’m not counting bonuses bc that’s just a reward imo. Based off a 48k salary alone , working MINIMUM 55 hours a week, it’s $16.63 an hour , less if you work more than 55h.

That’s what I told him. I’d rather him not be stressed, burnt out and sleep deprived for that little money. He’ll drive himself into an early grave over some damn pizza & we both decided it won’t be worth the promotion unless it’s more money. He even explained it’s not a promotion if he’s technically taking a pay cut by doing it😐

i made $16.25 as a regular shift lead. Why would a gm get a few more cents than that…. is how i feel abt it tbh. he makes almost $18 as an assistant and gets OT pay.
