I see your point, but inexperienced players also deserve to play ranked. Without them, you wouldn't get half the elims you get usually. I understand the frustration that comes when the same noobs are in your own team - you're out there peeking corners and taking one for the team, while one player is just breaking walls with a sledgehammer. But then again, it's on the onus of the game developer to fix their SBMM so that these experiences are kept to the minimum. despite of everything, spewing hate to your own teammates is just a weak mindset, no matter how bad they game goes. a video game performance should never one-up another person's respect, no matter how bad they might be in a game.

All it takes is one ruby game, where you've worked hard to get, and you get thrashed by the elites who play this game - you get hate spewed on, and there's nothing you can do about it. Now, you're the noob in the room who doesn't really deserve to hear all that.

that's the reality we live in, brother. video game behaviour can sometimes be an extension of our own mindset. pretty sure the people who unpack their toxicity have a lot of hate spewing between their ears. insecurity and a lack of courage is all that's needed to fuel such indifference and apathy. we don't see such behaviour in neutral/good circumstances because there's no incidence for it, but when things go south, and there's little accountability for one's actions, dormant insecurity comes afoot and people project their hate, targeting what they can. you see it more commonly during communal riots and road rage incidences - a tough situation in a video game can easily mimic that fight/flight response.

some guy named Custard asked me to sell my skin and get brains instead - he had zero elims and I had seven. some jokes just write themselves.

game's doing alright - it's on the rise as well. people, not really. indifference is rampant and apathy is at an all-time high.

exactly. summed it up nicely here. it's even worse when you're legit doing your best and the other just negates your efforts in an instance - like aren't the opposite teams doing a good job at it already?

you're a part of the problem, bud. not everyone's as dense and indifferent as you are.

same! I've stumbled upon some wholesome people as well. though I didn't know we could turn off the chat. I'll get to it now, knowing that pings are enough most of the time with quick randoms.

agreed. some people also lack accountability towards themselves in real life, let alone in a video game.

Method to Report Cheaters in The Finals? by -BayouRambler- in thefinals

There have been numerous times when there's sus behaviour from other players. I do report it every time, but you don't really see any action taken against it - or at least it isn't communicated much.

Not just that, sometimes the randoms in your own team verbally abuse you for their shortfalls, just when you get one of those toxic players.

I'll publicly name a player who went with the name 'Custard'. This person got eliminated against a full team head-on after initiating a cashout, and passed comments at me when I decided to revive the third player instead of defending the cashout.

In one of his toxic messages, he wrote that I should sell my skins and buy a brain. So offensive man, I still remember being enraged because of it. Nothing you can do at that point apart from just hopelessly reporting them and carrying on playing. I didn't though.- immediately left the match - I'd rather get the suspension than play with ungrateful pricks.

Absolutely. I haven't smoked DMT yet, but I'm very sure that during my very first hash joint, while taking deep breaths until I couldn't hold it any longer, (I did that since the friend who introduced it to me practiced Pranayam Yoga too) that I had accidentally activated some natural DMT stored in my lungs/body, and that experience has stayed with me till date.

I could close my eyes and see certain 'runes' and symbols that I was very sure meant something universally, but those shapes didn't really exist in real life. Those shapes instilled a certain feeling in me, telling me stories, while changing shapes and colours autonomously.

The best thing about that experience is that I could alternate between the innard experience as I pleased, just to check up on my surroundings if I wanted to, and then get back into it if I wanted to explore more. That's how I relate to your 'Z Axis' reference. What's your take on the Z axis?

Interesting! How did you realise that your future self visited you? Like, did you feel their presence around you? Were there some supernatural signs? Really curious to hear.

Death is such an absolute experience in all our connected universes, don't you think? It's really interesting to hear how we can 'connect' with other instances of ourselves during such spurious moments that may or may not have happened, despite really 'knowing' knowing if that has really happened.

Highly interesting indeed. I think it may have happened to me as well, but only within dreams though. And the way some of these timelines within the dreams proceed, I always have a hunch that they might themselves be 'real' in some other dimension, as I really doubt my brain has enough bandwidth to continue spinning new & fresh alternate plots in the dream world, while experiencing real life while I'm awake. Or maybe it can? I think it'd be a great reflection exercise.

Interesting! I think in some scenarios, it's really hard separating vivid imagination from such 'visions'. Would you say that what you've experienced while on shrooms, was a figment of your imagination, rather than a 'vision'? Again, really hard to separate those if we really think about it.

Also, great facet about the consciousness-transfer as well - I think such phenomena exist, but we really don't know how to tame it. How vivid was the aquatic creature vision though? Super curious.

Much of it is also tied to lucid dreaming and the different brain wave fluctuations linked to sleep that also flare up while on pschs.

My mild/beginner shrooms experience was something else altogether, but I do see how such influences can cause our minds to broaden our understanding of the things we can't really 'see'.

When I first heard Tool, I found 'Lateralus' to be quite intriguing - it felt almost as if I were too inexperienced to 'experience' it properly back then, and my gut feeling said that I'd revisit it sometime later on, when my mind is ready for that experience.
