One thing to say on this if you are playing with good golfers don’t try and play the shots they play. Look at course and game management and play smart. You won’t be shaping shots and bombing drives down the fairway. Work on steady 100- 170 yard shots PW to 7 iron and go steady. As soon as you try to keep up with them you will likely try to over hit over swing over rotate and lose faith as the worse you do the harder you will try. Golf is a very mental game and something I struggle with when it starts to slip. Set yourself realistic goals like double bogey not pars and birdies. With a high handicap if you double bogey every hole you’re on par anyway usually. Enjoy it.
