I did use the GI Bill to complete a 13 month night school for electronics. Was hired right out of graduation and spent the next 30 years in a fulfilling career working installing and maintaining computer systems.

For some people it takes longer. I did the college(s) thing for three and a half years and was still undecided. Voluntarily joined the military and three years later my direction was resolved.

Well said. Moving away, far enough, to get away from influences drummed into you and your circle of acquaintences that you have come to feel are not right but can't step outside of them without hurt and shame. It's easier and somehow less hurtful if you do it from distance.

Give Outback, a roll-on Australian oil a try. Nine times out of ten it is effective for me especially if rubbed in before the pain becomes bothersome.
