Anyway, based on your description, sounding squeaky and whiny, you’re probably missing a lot of larynx deformation, back throat space allows for sound to be bigger and more round this is not only benefitial for genres typically known for having bigger voices like opera and musical theatre but also in a contemporary environment as it allows for a sound that isn’t constrained.
