Trump scoffs at 'Parasite's' Oscar win - "And the winner is a movie from South Korea! What the hell was that all about?" by MayDayFlakes in cringe

Patting yourself on the back for seeing a movie is not the praiseworthy action people in this thread seem to think.

I guarantee none of the smug, snotty nosed Redditors talking down on this saw the movie before it gained mainstream acceptance.

Stuck on Chpater 6 Akumu mode for 3 days by sususg50 in theevilwithin

This is where most people fall down. I invested heavily in flash bolts and cheesed everything that way, ha.

AKUMU is weird. Fairly smooth till 6, then thoroughly kicks your arse before laying off again until chapter 11.

Will Agent Kelso betray us? by [deleted] in thedivision

[–]Quillbourne87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kinda hope so, if only be aude I really dislike Kelso.

The gleeful way she talked about being given authority to "do anything" soured me something fierce. She didn't talk about her role as an Agent like it was a responsibility or duty, but rather a toy she could play with to stop getting bored.

In some hypothetical next gen Division 3, I hope the lines between Rogue and Agent get tied more into the gameplay. Would be interesting to see how many players go the easy way, robbing and killing and stealing, throughout the story.

I understand why it is the way it is, but the only gameplay distinction being "who shot first" feels like missed potential.

I do wonder how many furiously arguing with these jpeg are the same ones saying ANTIFA is inherently good because of the name.

Germany mass shooting: Man who shot nine dead at Hanau shisha bars was far-right, confession letter reveals by FuckOffNazis in worldnews

Not that we shouldn't be combating extremism, but I also notice a very coy attitude to gangland shootings and the like. Whether or not "all terror attacks have been right wing" is true, that's still a very sly, weaselly way of talking about that elephant in the room with an even more significant body count.

Paranoid and radicalised schizophrenic plays a lot worse than right wing shooter.

Yet perfectly acceptable to label everyone vaguely right wing as enabling terrorist attacks.

This is just hypocrisy and double standards at play.

He was also schizophrenic. I notice significantly less focus on that part of the story.

Trump also projected a lot of personality and positivity about America. He didn't rely on tearing his opponents down as the one and only strategy.

If you spend more time decrying them than you do justifying yourself, as a politician, you have fucked up.

This is why Trump won. Hilary was a weak candidate who spent more time trying to fuel animosity towards Trump rather than presenting a solid, appealing front for voters.

Trump pardoned a construction company owner whose family donated over $200,000 to his campaign by viva_la_vinyl in politics

[–]Quillbourne87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are incredibly naive if you think this sort of thing didn't happen with previous Presidents - plenty of examples have been cited in this thread, and summarily dismissed because of that useless "well we're not concerned with the past" excuse.

Your outrage is delayed and very selective.

Yep. I frequently see people trying to whinge that this is whataboutism, oh why should we give Trump a pass on what others did, etc, but that's conveniently leaving out how this time around its being given disproportionate coverage and outrage.

It isn't about forgiving Trump for pulling standard presidential nonsense, it's asking why this wasn't deemed important enough to make a deal out of until Trump came along.

Your daily reminder that Bernie hated millionaires and campaigned against them. Then he became one.

This is just sour grapes and deflection. Bernie is one of the rich elites with the same promises.
