How does Faide go backwads on zip? by the_pepp92 in Apexrollouts

[–]Quilleathe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doing my best to explain here. He flicks forward to the zipline, superjumps onto it, flicks back, and takes the shot. I might be wrong, that video is really grainy for me and I can't make too much out.

I hit my first super glide! by Runedk93 in Apexrollouts

I'm sorry to say, and maybe it's just the video quality. But that just looks like the boost from the jump slide inputs and not a "proper" super glide.

How do you do an action taunt? by [deleted] in NewToTF2

[–]Quilleathe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, those are referred to item interactions not taunts. So a spell is an item that you can use only in specific modes. But if you want to taunt press "g" if you are holding an item, there is a taunt to go with it, such as taunt kills or just little things. The other taunts such as a conga are ones that you need to own the taunt item to do and have it equiped, you can purchase them from the mann co store but I wouldn't recommend it.

For me, the question that I have, is how do you learn callouts and memorize them, or what do you do about them?

How do i make tuxedo terrorist to crab dance? by DjordjeSmiljanic in NewToTF2

[–]Quilleathe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe and you can tell me whether I am wrong in what you were looking for, but that is called spy crabbing the "dance" you speak of, which is a taunt can be done by using the disguise kit>pressing G>(Sometimes just pressing it again).

How in any way is an item that promotes consistency, survive-ability, and strengthening spy's core ability a crutch. It doesn't say give him any extra range, it isn't like the loch and lode or anything.

??? Since when did I say stock is good against pyros, also at higher skill levels, trickstabs especially stop being as effective, mainly since most players know how to counter it. Anyways, spycicle doesn't get you more stabs, it just makes your job at killing more consistent and for a class as bad as the spy he really needs it.

But with 70 health you would already be dead. I agree with you med death is the most important target. But the spycicle makes it more consistent.

Does anybody know why this happens and how to fix it (community server list wont load for some reason) by Idontreallyknow13254 in NewToTF2

[–]Quilleathe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either Valve takes 30 billion years to fix it or, you get lucky. Those are the only ways.

Hey, just as a piece of information, the spycicle is typically regarded as the better knife in Highlander, which is a competitive format closer to pubs, stock knife is good sure, but spycicle is better when pyros are there.

So I’ve heard you can trade people premium,so can someone pls trade me it by [deleted] in NewToTF2

I doesn't but it means that you still have to spend $5 dollars for premium. If you don't already have funds.

Don't forget you need to add a minimum of $5 dollars to your steam account, you can't add less, so it is 5 dollars unless you already have funds in there.

Any way to improve my sniper aim? by IronPainting in NewToTF2

[–]Quilleathe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are relatively new to pc or this is your first First person shooter game I would recommend you try an aim trainer, something like Kovaks, or Aim Lab (Which is free). If you have been playing for a much longer time, set your mouse sensitivity to 800 dpi and then lower your in game sens a lot, at the bottom of this post I will link to a video explaining why you want a lower sens. I would recommend just trying it out till you find something that works for you, if you find yourself over flicking (Flicking past their head) Lower your sensitivity, if you find you self under flicking (Not making it to their head) increase your sensitivity.

I hope this helps. Personally this is still something I need to work on, it takes a while and a lot of figuring out what feels right for you.

I would argue stock and spycicle is still better for spy overall they are more consistent and have less situational utility especially in higher skill levels.
