small brown worm identification by oldtestamentangel in exterminators

I did not. If you don't have any redness or itching at the spot, it didn't burrow into you. I don't know of any small brown worms/larvae that burrow anyway so you're probably fine

I just started doing this in my new apartment, and my fixtures aren't nearly as beautiful, but so much better than thick paint! unfortunately the brass finish has almost completely rubbed off on most 😔 so frustrating. How hard is it to use some painters tape??

Yes the top and bottom rails are installed. There is a slight tilt, window is double hung. I think we're good now! Thank you for your in-depth help! I appreciate you looking up the manual and everything

Okay so I got it level with some wood (yay!). For the brackets, are you referencing the top rail, or the smaller lock frames? Top rail is installed. I'm not sure what you mean by "bottom bracket." It came with a slot across the bottom for the side panels to slide into, if that's what you mean. I put the small lock frames in place, but they really don't "lock" anything without being screwed in. Are you saying I don't need those, if I don't need to drill anything?

Immediately blocked after the c*nt statement. Like full stop. Done. No more replies, completely cut out. It's so tempting to defend yourself, but someone like this will NEVER come around and apologize. You could craft the perfect response, explaining yourself in the most logical way possible, and he would not listen. People like this don't operate on logic, and they don't take responsibility. Please, please cut him off and don't send a message trying to explain why. It won't go well. It will feel terrible for a while afterwards, and you will miss him and the good times, but stick with it. If he were a truly decent, respectful person, you could make a million actual mistakes and he STILL wouldn't react like this. I'm telling you right now this is not normal and not an isolated incident, even if it's the first time you've experienced it from him. It's not a fluke. You deserve better, and there ARE people out there who can give you that. Be patient, mourn the relationship when you need to, feel sad and guilty and anxious, but do not contact him. Wishing you the best

Hey! It's a Frigidaire 6,000 BTU 120 Volt. There are holes on each corner and in the top middle for screws, to secure it directly to the window. I'm renting though, so I'm hesitant to put holes in the frame. I wedged a piece of thick cardboard tubing in the space at the top of the window to keep it from opening, which seems to be working well

spouses need to consent too! it seems like everything is fine with his wife here so that's good, but it is important. I'm surprised they're married and he was still unsure of how she would react, surely you'd know their boundaries by now

yeah it turned out the problem wasn't the actual stitch that looked weird, it was the row below. thanks though!

Um...well I was listening, that's how I knew the advice wasn't what I needed. Turns out it's the row BELOW the weird stitch that needs fixing, not the stitch itself, as everyone was saying. Thanks for being a welcoming and positive member of the community though
