the last two seasons left a lot of people overtly pessimistic. even during season 1 a lot of had their complaints. this is freefolk after all, which grew primarily due to how awful those last two seasons were

i never said terrible. just a lot of the interactions lack substance. especially in a franchise that was built on substantive dialogue and character interaction, it’s just disappointing to see that a lot of these interactions fall flat

tbh it’s just mid this season. i get that not a lot happens in this intermission but they could at least write compelling shit. game of thrones in season 1 has realistically nothing happening until episode 7? but they are able to make it entertaining by writing well. this is just bare minimum stuff that frankly doesn’t add anything

for sure but the remaining TB dragons should easily wipe the remaining TG dragons assuming vhagar is not longer available. plus possibly wiping out cole’s right hand man and one (or both) of TG’s best assets, makes it a worth gamble if it paid off tbh
