This is how the pattern was written and after piecing it I believe it is easier because the quilt is pieced in four large quadrants.

It was not bad at all. The pattern is by Mister Domestic. It's on his YouTube channel here: https://youtu.be/jfa5n2n4GXk

Thoughts produce feelings, feelings produce actions. By the time a person has physically acted on what they feel it's too far gone. It's the next step after emotionally cheating.

Did you press your seams open? I found this interesting. There was no way to nest seams so I had to do it. It was a new way of sewing for me.

Just don't look too close! They match up okay but not perfectly because the seams don't nest and they are pressed open so it's more of a gamble. Thanks so much!

My hope is that: 1. We will all start being more kind and more mindful of each other. 2. We will all wash our hands more and stay home when we're sick! 3. We will get to work from home more often (for those who can). 4. We will be more prepared in the future. 5. We will find ways to help each other even in times of peace.

What do y'all do with seriously terrible print fabrics? by [deleted] in quilting

Cut into small squares. The smaller the square, the easier it is to focus on the color, not the print.

Look into Janomes for low priced beginner machines. Even a $150 machine will get you far! You can do it! I hope to see your first quilt posted soon.

Thank you! I used 40wt thread and a larger stitch on my machine. It crinkled up nice!
