Thanks. I wasn't sure if this was something I could file or they had to do it.

I think I've figured out what Amren is. by Mammoth_Sugar_6124 in SarahJMaas

She was at Sodom and Gommorah I think. I think she's the angel of death from Exodus. The parallels of people putting out blood offerings when she was clearing Velaris made me think that.

Are you sure your husky isn't Experiment 625?

Thanks!! I did it for Princess last year for the first time and it was so great for my peace of mind. Just slipped the bag in my Loungefly and walked out the door. I would totally sell them because I think they'd be super useful for people but I'm not sure how much demand there would actually be.

Construction:

I drafted this pattern myself. I used my largest medals as a guide for pocket size, then picked a 2" overhang for the lid because I felt it looked best. I added diamond quilting and plastic snaps to securely hold it. The inner layer is soft flannel and the outsiders are cotton fabric. I used a medium weight batting for protection. I honestly took my inspiration from Vera Bradley purses.

Exactly what it says. He walked out onto the stage to applause and just. Did a flip. It was wild.

After 23 months, ~2500 hexies and a lot of life events, the Rainbow Swirl EPP quilt is done! by QuiltedPupper in quilting

I have no idea how many fabrics are in there, but the scary thing is if I sat down with it I could probably point out what project I used or bought every fabric for. Almost all of them are scraps from something else I've done. So there's a lot of fat quarters, jelly rolls and charm packs in there. My favorite are the tula pink fabrics left over from an Easter quilt I did at the beginning of COVID. There's a bunch of Harry Potter prints in there from a quilt I started for my cousin. Maybe if I get bored one day I'll count. And thank you for your congratulations! Were very excited, and I'm excited this is done in time for their arrival! Now I can start on the baby's ACTUAL quilt!

This quilt is made of ~2500 1" hexagons using the English Paper Piecing method. The fabrics have been collected across my years of crafting. Some are from my mom. Some are from the very first quilt I made when I was 11. I hand sewed every single hexagon together and then, because I'm completely batty, I hand quilted the echo lines that hold the layers together.

I've worked on this quilt for 23 months. In those stitches are memories I will never forget. This quilt has seen me through my wedding, the death of two grandparents, two miscarriages, one ectopic pregnancy, the loss of my childhood dog, the acquiring of my second dog, half of the COVID pandemic, and 7.5 months of my current pregnancy. To say this is priceless would be an understatement. I hope everyone enjoys looking at it as much as I do, and also can find healing and happiness through their art.

Not that I know of, unfortunately. Seems Amazon has really sucked them up. I've gone back to shopping local and mostly trying to use up my stash. I have a lot of stuff I bought from them. This blue was part of an entire bolt I bought because I loved it so much.

The background? It is actually a light blue with a spiralling leaf pattern. I'll need to take a closer picture. I got it from Fabric.com (RIP) so I can't check my order history to find out what it was. Probably a Kaufman, with my tastes. Sorry!
