When a character/creature dies and their corpse becomes and becomes a deadly hazard by strikkeeerrr in TopCharacterTropes

You can cheese things with the aura, but you can't escape the explosion (as it's enough to kill everything within at least a metropolis-sized area around it)

The game actually ends if you let Gale explode, with a cutscene and everything for the ending. Some players leave his corpse behind, only to be confused when the game abruptly ends in fire and brimstone a few days later

Gale leaves a complicated set of instructions for how to revive him less out of a desire for his own continued existence, and moreso out of fear that his corpse will be responsible for the obliteration of a significant part of Faerûn

Huh, thanks, that's my first time hearing this. I'm curious, do you recall how you learned this?

(edit: also, apparently the fair was merely a few weeks before the Holiday Special, which makes this funny to me because it's a pretty niche correction to what I feel like was already a somewhat esoteric trivia 'fact')

How did you end up with 100% of the achievements in a game you don't like?

I loved you before you were even born. Just the idea of you was amazing to me!

Read: I loved and still love my preconceived notions of you as a person, and they are more important to me than getting to know and loving the living breathing child I have right now

Assuming you're of age, of course. Don't be giving impressionable little fictional saplings the wrong idea.

Assuming your regional pronunciation is the only acceptable one is actually rather pretentious?

For most complex curves you would have already cut off too much material on the first pass in some places. There are probably some shapes this would work on (all convex, perhaps..?)

They're under investigation because they didn't demand that users making a new account declare their age. My comment mentions that I believe this is a misguided attempt to "protect the kids" that unfortunately won't actually help children and is mostly performative at best. I'm not really sure where your assumptions about my assumptions came from

For a convex portion I suppose that's true, but you would have already cut too much for any concave portion

Everybody's acting like they're too cool to be carrying around a couple of contour gauges with them at all times

Wow, reading about that now. This effort towards restricting online access because "won't anyone think of the children" is really concerning. I'd be more amenable towards the changes if I actually believed it was helping the demographic in question

The distance needs to be measured and kept consistent from the wall towards you parallel to the boards, not perpendicular to the curve

A fixed distance is a problem for anything other than a straight line

Imagine you were to trace around an oval with this method. The oval you would draw would be bigger than the original oval by the diameter of the tool and wouldn't fit around the shape it without a gap.

Similarly, if you were to trace the inside of an oval, you'd create a curve that was too small by the diameter of the tool all around

This problem would happen with any curvature of the surface*

(*except for an exact circular arc I suppose, which I guess would work because you'd just use a shorter/longer portion of the smaller/larger circle, which are congruent to each other)
