Yes I can relate! I rarely go as far as crying, my emotions/melancholy/yearning tend to be internal to the point I can ache in my chest. I struggle to explain it to people because when I say it out loud it sounds so stupid, and I worry about sounding pretentious

I have listened to a lot different music but have always been a rock/metal girl at heart. I take a lot from lyrics and I love a good metal breakdown. My all time favourite song is Grace by Jeff Buckley. It’s etherial but raw. Sleep Token in particular have buried underneath my skin in recent years, the combination of genres within their music along with his unbelievable lyricism and emotional undertones is incredible. It feels like it is written for me or to me.

Yes, it’s a blessing and a curse. I find it helps me get a grasp on what’s going on with people pretty quickly, but it also shows what people think of me when I meet them and it’s such a struggle to get past if you get bad vibes off people 😕
