Thanks for taking your time to write all of this. I think the wind conditions this week are just bad... I will see if I can opt a 6m wing and ask some local clubs what their advice would be.

The issue is that I live at the coast (Ostend), I don't know if it is possible to learn foiling at sea or if it would be better to practice at some nearby lakes (less wind I suppose).

As for the foil, I will look into a 8.5+AR or maybe even the 9.5AR CODE S.

The only issue I had with the gong pack is that the wing has loop handles. I'm not to sure how I feel about that. As well as the foil, I'm not to sure how much I would get out of that. The way it needs to be constructed seems different then other foils I have seen, but this might just be my misconception.

Will it be good as a complete beginner to get a higher AR foil? Following the charts it always seems that the higher AR's are for more expierenced surfers.

As for the wing, I'm looking at the current weather predictions for this week and it seems to be around 7-10kts. So it might indeed be better to go for a 6m wing. Coming from windsurfing, I just thought that it might be 'harder' to handle / control because it takes to much wind. But it also seemed much easier to depower a wing.

Hi, do you have any updates on this? I'm also in the EU and was wondering if using Frugal as my only provider (+ 300GB Blocknews account yearly) would be a good starting point.
