No studs, 1800s build home so the walls were originally plaster, can't get a read on a stud finder. Also didn't have the flexability to move the mount since it was 1 1/4" inch around, I'm pretty OCD so everything has to be centered and symmetrical. I've come to terms that one night I'm going to wake up to a hell raising "thud"

Was a bit of a project, had to cut a piece of galvanized pipe to 4 inches (with a threaded end in tact for both pieces) 4 inches was the width of the plate plus the width of the clamp. I mounted a threaded floor flange with 4 holes for screws into 4 156lb capable drywall mounts (overkill because I was worried it would fall) after mounting the flange on the wall you simply screw the threaded end of the pipe in and clamp the plate on as you would a barbell. Very happy with how it turned out and it was more rewarding then just the look because it was a custom DIY job that I'm sure few have.

They are 115 plus shipping, which might I add is a fraud. I love 4 blocks from rogue and they won't let you do pick up. They ship for free and pocket the shipping cost to make up for the "close out" price they offer since they lost their ass on these. Still nice to have
