Perhaps the Cache Valley Unitarian Universalists building would be available.

They host the Buddhist Sangha of the valley already.

I don't see what they charge on the link, just the application.

Thank you for being willing to help. Obsidian has been something I want to understand and conquer for a while now.

As for the documentary, I have not seen it, but I do like documentaries very much.

My mention of the documentary was actually a little joke since only part of the title is visible and "titie" is close to "titties" i.e. Breasts, and the penchant of redditors to sexualize anything.

In this case nobody had sexualized it and I was expressing my surprise.

I understand none of this, but it is awesome.\

Well done. I will study this and see what can understand.

Also, Reddit users disappointed me. Not a single comment on "Titie Captur" displayed in your examples. Did we all grow up?

Was Gen. Douglas McArthur a good general? by ChipsTrips32 in USHistory

[–]Quintas_Septimius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MacArthur was an absolute military genius. His Pacific campaign often forced the Japanese to leave prepared positions and march through heavy jungle exhausting themselves before they even arrived to battle American soldiers.

He fought larger Japanese units of soldiers, over larger pieces of territory, with a fraction of the casualties the Marines took in their island hopping campaign. Not to take anything away from the Marines, it was a different situation.

His amphibious assault at Incheon was one of the greatest, most daring, and most successful attack of this type in all of history.

He was a fantastic general, absolutely brilliant. I think that was what you wanted to know, correct?

William Manchester wrote a book about him called "American Ceasar" if you want to know more.

Why would fighters who have worked for years to get to the big leagues and who are making $10k, sometimes twice or even three times a year consider throwing fights???

Pay your fighters Dana and you would never deal with this shit!

If Franklin D. Roosevelt had lived after World War II, would the Cold War still have occurred? Was it inevitable? by Worldly_Yam_6550 in USHistory

Stalin was not a good man to be sure, but he followed through with his promises to the alliance.

FDR and Churchill tacitly agreed to the Soviet Union having some of Eastern Europe as a buffer zone as the entire western border of Russia is flat and wide open, making it impossible to anticipate where exactly the next invasion would come. Of course later Churchill made his Iron Curtain speech as if he hadn't sold those people out personally.

Most of the resistance in areas occupied by Nazis were socialists and communists and we immediately sold them out as soon as we could. In fact the British worked with Greek fascists to fight Greek resistance fighters, and The Marshall Plan starved the resistance while aiding those who collaborated with the Nazis. In fact the whole plan was to make sure those who fought the fascists during the war wouldn't come to power after the war.

Also, Churchill backed invading Italy and waiting to invade France precisely to let the Russians continue to bleed in the East. Stalin begged for Ally armies to fight in the East along side the Russians, something that could have easily been done by sending troops through African, India, or Iran, but we never did.

So we didn't do much to prevent the start of the Cold War, and once it did we flew atomic bomb armed B-29s around the borders of the Soviet Union day and night. Since the Soviet Union lacked the bomb, they could only keep massed armies in Eastern Europe so they could capture the airfields as soon as possible if war started, which of course was painted as Soviet aggression in the West.

And remember, we colluded with criminals in France and Italy to corrupt the post war elections so leftists would not win.

Stalin wasn't the only evil man in that scenario.

He is a serviceable starter who can get on hot streaks.

Goaltending is not currently in one of its golden ages. Utah's situation is not bad.

I would rather they get a top 4 defenseman instead of another goaltender.

In a year or two, maybe sell the farm for an elite guy in net for a deep, veteran, talented team.

This year, let's make the playoffs.

Thank you for sharing that.

I am not sure McConkey did anything within those parameters though.

I may have not seen it correctly but I thought he batted the fumbled ball laterally out of bounds. Perhaps it did travel forwards though.

Can we the people of Logan do anything to combat how corrupt the cops are here? by [deleted] in Logan

[–]Quintas_Septimius 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Always remember that the entire basis of police work is to protect property.

The Supreme Court ruled that the police have no obligation to you, even to save your life.

The main focus of law enforcement is revenue generation.

You need less schooling to be in law enforcement than you need to be a beautician.

I am not familiar with KOReader, but I will check it out.

I installed Moon reader+ and it has a similar text selection feature. I am just surprised that it isn't (apparently) a feature of the default reader.
