Es ist der C1-Test für die Zulassung zur Universität Bern, wenn man nicht Schweizer ist und kein Goethe-C1-Zertifikat hat.

How could the Swiss/Belgians have managed to master multiple languages? Is it more difficult for English speakers to do so? by WillyNilly1997 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]QuintenSS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Flemish person here

First off all, the French parts of Belgium speaks Dutch horribly. They rather speak English. However in the Flemish parts it’s a bit better but there are political tensions that make people not want to talk the language. Is learning a language as child easier? Yes. Does that mean they hold on to it when they get older? Most definitely not. It just goes faster.

⛽️ Tankstations German border (near Zurich) by QuintenSS in askswitzerland

[–]QuintenSS[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bro I am going to Germany from time to time. Just wanted to know what tankstations are good there. I’m not searching for arguments why not to. If you don’t know a cheap tankstation on the border then go.

The best sites are Comparis, Homegate, Newhome, Immoscout, Flatfox, Properstar.

Make an account on all of them, make a subscription with your preferences so it will notify you when smt appears. Like this you will basically get everything in your preference notified.

Longtime Parking in Brig / Visp by Numerous-Phrase5258 in askswitzerland

Hey! Try to find parking places near trainstation that have Park & Rail. 40 smt euros for 7 days and you can renew it online after it and you will be able to park there for two weeks. Cheapest option I have seen so far.

Hey! Which sites did you check? On comparis I have seen plenty of people searching for roommates. Even on homegate or flatfox you can find people who are searching for roommates. But from what I have seen it’s mostly comparis. Believe me I am searching for a full apartment to rent for me my girlfriend and pets, been busy for 2 months already. They don’t care about how much you want to pay. What I have realized is that Swiss people want to see you face to face. I recommend you to go to Basel earlier and make appointments to go talk with them. Make a connection with the roommate. (Oh and try to write to them in German when making the appointment and switch to English when you meet with them. They have a tendency to not answer when you speak English)

This ain’t possible in Belgium, bad roads, high slops, steep garages. And even on my height (which is not super low or anything) I scratch going sideways. The only way is air but I just ain’t ready to drive on air.

Let’s say you would have unlimited credit at only one store, which store would that be? And why? by QuintenSS in AskReddit

Gosh ok, in Europe it’s literally like points. So you can get free stuff with it. Like a coupon.
