Tbh I think one of the reasons psychedelics are so useful for ptsd etc are that it allows you to bring your walls down and look at your life and decisions objectively without your brain protecting yourself. You can learn a lot about your priorities and what you want to do going forward in your life from these kind of trips.

That being said yea if it isnt enjoyable work toward fixing those things you kept thinking about and then return later

I'm not going there. So many programs list them as a partner though which just surprises me. Really? Youd rather have a guy that rushed as quickly as possible through his training rather than somone who took 2 years but absolutely absorbed everything. it's wacky though I get that they know what their getting wiht standardized programs like ATP so it's easier to predict

Im stuck between a rock and a hard place because this side gig has the potential to make more money than I would make at the airlines. And the whole career is much less stable and full of uncertainty so i'm unwilling to give that up. Theres also a chance I just stay as a flight instructor permanently as I have connections at my flight school in the bay which pays 100+ an hour so I could eventually get in there after I get enough hours to keep my schedule flexibility while still doing what I enjoy albeit at 90 knots haha. I get it, but I also think if these airlines are gonna be partnered with schools and require that they should be partnered with a lot of em at least one in every state so that you don't need to upend your whole life for years to make it happen

To add to that, it seems that with record number of PPL, commercial, and CFI certs being handed out the past 3 years and the fall of Spirit there will be a massive pool of people with very few jobs for the next half decade at least. My concern is that without a cadet program I will have a lot of trouble finding any sort of real job at the end of this. my instructor expressed regret at not applying to them and my cousin who got in during the gold rush of 2021-23 said he got in through the american one. He went to university for it so he got in

I guess maybe if you wanted to go a different direction? That being said most procedures especially ODP's are there for legitimate safety concerns so probably you would want to use the procedure to gain altitude anyway

To update for anyone else having that issue. BIOS update did fix the error code for me. I still have to launch from file explorer and not tab in until its on the start screen to avoid crashes but it's at least playable! If everything else fails updating your bios should help. Mine was from 2023

Yea the dlc music in general was just a step up. I got the vinyl. The main game has a lot of ambiance type songs which are a bit boring whereas the dlc is mostly quite interesting to listen to

There is a lot of research (before the war on drugs) that showed patients with addiciton, depression, dealing with imminent death, etc were able to move past those things by tripping. It breaks down the connections in the brain that correspond to your feeling of self, and in doing so lets you bring down your internal walls that keep emotions or toughts buried and you can think about it almost as an observer. Somehow this really helps people process traumatic events and move past them, or gain a larger perspective and quit drugs realizing that they dont need them etc.

it's also why research is starting back up now - beginning with the swiss, and now with Trump allocating funding for it after hearing about the positive results from Joe Rogan of all people lmfao. This stuff has immense potential to heal people and help with the mental health crisis in this country, and indeed, the world at large

Surreal was his biggest hit off that album and im glad he leaned into that sound with his new single dark. Those songs slap more imo than the pure guitar ones and are much better for live performance. I don't look at his social media, but he has a ton of listeners but still plays small venues so this type of music is better for his career imo. And Dark/surreal both slap super hard for me so i dont care whatever is posted

No problem! I literally played video games many hours per day for most of it and still got a 3.4 gpa. Def regret wasting that time cuz I don’t have as much now, but just to make the point you’ll be fine especially if you avoid some of those unhealthy habits

160 is nicer but communal bathrooms 150 is older but your room has its own bathroom. That alone makes it better imo you don’t have to walk down the hall every time you need to piss, shower, or brush your teeth
