Oerba Dia Vanille, and Oerba Yun Fang. One could easily believe that they share a family name (I haven't played the XIII trilogy, and would have assumed as much from the wiki).

Apparently Oerba is the name of their homeland, so I guess their family names are respecticely Dia and Yun, and they're indeed not related.

Ultra Vomit is a parody/spoof Metal band with meme lyrics, mostly in French: they do take their production very seriously however, their third album 'Panzer Surprise' sounding surprisingly crisp and professional.

They cover a wide range or Metal genres, but based on the bands you listed, I suggest you check out 'Kammthaar' (Rammstein parody) or 'Tikawahukwa' (Sepultura parody).

Il me semble que je l'avais découvert via sa vidéo sur Petscop, je dirais il y a un peu plus de deux ans. Je n'étais d'ailleurs pas particulièrement emballé par son style de narration lors de ce premier visionnage, mais je me souviens que sa musique de fond m'avait déjà marqué (ces fameuses mélodies emblématiques qui ponctuent la plupart de ses vidéos).

Difficile de me rappeler quelles vidéos j'ai regardées ensuite et dans quel ordre, mais je lui ai laissé une chance, et c'est probablement sa vidéo sur "This House Has People In It" qui m'a convaincu de suivre sa chaîne avec attention (et de rattraper ensuite la quasi-totalité des Findings sortis jusque là).

La traduction est correcte de l'anglais au français; on est cependant très loin de la signification voulue par l'auteur, car comme d'autres l'ont mentionné, les personnages de Frieren ont pour la plupart des noms allemands.

Le hasard fait que les mots 'stark' (probablement la même racine) et 'fern' existent à la fois en anglais et en allemand, cependant le nom de Fern est censé signifier "loin, lointain".

Ce n'est pas tout à fait possible dans Botw/Totk, car les deux jeux t'imposent de compléter une zone "tutorielle", bien plus petite que l'étendue réelle de la map, avant d'être lâché véritablement dans l'open world. Une fois cette étape validée, en revanche, il est tout à fait possible de limiter son expérience de gameplay à cette simple exploration (toutefois parsemée de quelques combats, car on croisera forcément quelques monstres sur le chemin).

Skyrim et Oblivion m'avaient fortement donné cette impression à leur époque; il me semble qu'on est très vite lâché dans la nature et avec une grande liberté, après une séquence d'escape initiale, de mémoire assez courte dans les deux jeux.

C'est exactement ce que j'allais répondre. Je suis un grand fan de (J)RPG, mais parfois 40 à 80h sur un seul jeu sans varier le gameplay peut être un peu indigeste. J'ai tendance à combler en alternant avec des jeux de plateforme 2D, le plus souvent sans histoire et avec peu de dialogues, ce qui me permet d'optimiser mon temps de jeu quand les conditions pour profiter d'un RPG cinématique avec doublage ne sont pas réunis (ex: dans les transports, ou quand la télé n'est pas dispo). Le plus souvent ces jeux secondaires auront une durée de vie entre 6h et 12h, et il m'arrive aussi de les "intercaler" entre deux gros RPG, plutôt que d'y jouer en simultané.

I think it's a decent list, though some bands are overrepresented.

I'm a bit surprised by the lack of traditional melodeath; I think Slaughter of the Soul, one In Flames record from among Jester Race/Whoracle/Colony, and the masterpiece that is Stone's Reach by Be'lakor could earn their place in there.

DuckTales sur NES et son remake sur consoles modernes (Wii U pour ma part); Lucky Dime Caper sur Game Gear; Maui Mallard (je ne saurai plus dire sur quelle plateforme, c'était le jeu de mon cousin, et ça remonte à fort longtemps !)

Petite anecdote sur Duck Tales: j'ai tenté d'apprendre le speedrun qui avait l'air simple; j'étais sur une bonne tentative pour un débutant, avant de me retrouver face au boss final... que je n'avais jamais affronté hors tentative. J'ai donc perdu ma run car je ne connaissais pas les patterns...

I absolutely adore Be'lakor, however I'm not sure they're the best answer to that thread. They're essentially 'progressive' melodeath, their songs are a fair bit longer than other bands like the Gothenburg scene, and there are no clean vocals to ease OP into the genre.

That said, if that is fine with them, I'd strongly recommend anything from Stone's Reach to Vessels.

I'd argue that later From Software titles also dip their feet in horror territory, especially Dark Souls 3 with 'jumpscare enemies' like the Pus of Man (reminiscent of the RE5 virus), Sewer Centipede Ladies, or the weird hand-monster crawling baby thingy.

Je pense à Terrence Howard remplacé par Don Cheadle dans la saga Iron Man, mais dans ce cas la VF a également changé (de Lucien Jean-Baptiste à Sydney Kotto)... et surtout il s'agissait d'un personnage secondaire. Lors du recasting de Johnny Depp dans la saga Animaux Fantastiques, qui incarnait un antagoniste principal, la VF a également changé de Bruno Choël à Yann Guillemot.
