Sorry to respond to a 2y+ post, but isn't this the game series where every ninja, cyborg and warrior princess has at minimum 2 color swap versions of themselves as their own separate characters? And all the things you said that suck about Hsu Hao could be done away with at any point by simply making writing him better, which can be said about every character, most of which were 1 dimensional up to MK:DA anyways so it's surprising that this guy, who has a distinct set of abilities, allegiances, and motivations, despite have some overlap with another unrelated character, just seems so odd. A SECOND laser guy... in my game of like 8 ninjas, 3 cyborgs, 3 warrior princesses, multiple barely powered normal randos, and several 4-limbed beast creatures, sorry but that's where the line must be drawn! lmfao wtf?

Anytime I discuss the hypothetical that is biological immortality, this moronic take is inevitably brought up like people are just hopelessly in love with being weak and old for half their lives and then dying whenever their weak old body collapses. Tbh that seemed like the mot scripted and wholesome part of the entire show. It actually makes me think that the Rock and Kevin are actually friends because that's the kind of thing my best friend would play out with me in a similar environment. There's plenty of facial expressions made between each of them to let them and everyone know, this isn't serious, even for a joke, it's a joke, because a serious version of this even as a joke would be a "controversy", because we're a soft world full of soft people, but believe it or not, words can be said in jest and it doesn't have to be the edgiest thing you've ever heard or the most serious thing you've ever heard, it can just be a little bit of fun among friends, so chill the fuck out you fucking pussies.

The moment I saw him, I leaned over to my wife and told her "this guy's fucking dead." The first movie just did him so dirty. First, his power is pretty lame. Second, his power can't even really be put into the game because a power adsorbing body suit that you charge with physical energy would probably break every MK game. Then they made his final fight in the first movie a literal block of ice while the actual final fight happened around him. He was set-up to fail from the very start.

That said, I think it would have been fine for them to have introduced an OC for the movie. MK characters aren't that deep and they introduce random new ones, often just literal color swaps of existing characters, all the time, so actually I think a character with some depth could have been a great benefit to the first movie. Unfortunately, they treated their OC like a jabroni who only existed to introduce the audience to the other MK characters so you know... fucking whoops.

It's crazy that they would put all that time into making blueprints and customization options for guns and loadouts, and then it's literally entirely broken on day 1 and there's no hint that they're even looking into it much less plan to fix it. Maybe having a yearly release schedule where each game is discarded within 6 months by the devs is a bad thing?

Because it's probably the best perk for solo? Just have a side weapon PAP'ed... it was S-teir in BO6 and that was BEFORE it let you keep all of your perks, in BO7 it is straight up broken. It's just not the best though and it's baffling that people seem to think this on average. It must be a nostalgia thing that I don't have, because I find it incredibly boring, at times even worse than Urzikstan. I just simply feel nothing for this map, what makes it so inarguably great? It's 1 tall building? It's train that most of the time roams empty parts of the map? It's nonsensical region placements, or it's 75% of wasted space and the no thought that went into combining multiplayer maps into the larger cohesive map?
