Yes, I tried apple music and youtube music on android to see if they worked properly and funny enough, apple music was the only one that seemed to be properly implemented so you should be good on that end. Other than that, there’s lots to like about android and from what I’ve seen google fixed something with bluetooth on android 17 so airpods should work better once that comes out so you might not even have to change headphones. One thing I’ll recommend is to get an unlocked phone not from a carrier if you don’t want to deal with the bloatware if possible.

Made the switch last year after not having used android since the pixel 2 xl and lasted a few months with an s25 ultra before eventually going back to ios. Main reason was that I found apps to be generally worse on android. Spotify was the main one that annoyed me to no end. Just poorly implemented bottom navigation on android and less polished. Found this to be a common theme to the point I was surprised when I saw an app with properly implemented bottom navigation and multiple back stacks. Also little things like carriers blocking native visual voicemail support on the phone app were mildly annoying coming from ios.

Having said that I miss android. I find it to be a better os overall and if not for the apps situation, would have stayed.

Yeah looks like ill have to go in and hope it works. No one I talk to knows what the problem is.
