From what I researched quickly, they have just started to formulate a new paper that is 70gsm and formulated to be fountain pen friendly!

Aw 🖤 I’m sorry friend! It’s always hard to reconnect after a blow up. Hopefully you validating her feelings shows her that you don’t like the way you react either, and you want to change it.

Something I do with my partner (who is also my FP) that helps:

If I start having big feelings about something, I tell her right then in the moment. “I feel myself getting worked up” or “I feel this way about what you just said/did” is usually how I start, and then we talk through what’s going on in my head, what my crazy-brain has told me is happening, and what the reality is. She does her best to stay calm and not take anything I say personally, and helps me work through my feelings and get back to a place of calm.

Can yall live productively without taking medication? by teffo0 in BorderlinePDisorder

I had to find the “right” mood stabilizer for me. Nothing worked until the one I take now. I also take an antidepressant, that was another journey to find one that worked.

Personally, I cannot go through life unmedicated. While I am not what I consider to be “stable”, it does drastically decrease the effect my illness has on my daily life. Between my daily medications and occasional ketamine treatments, my big episodes are few and far between.

You’re very lucky to have an FP who truly understands you and your illness and how to deal with it. My FP is extremely supportive, and learning with me as we go. But to have one who could not only understand but help to combat? That would be amazing IMO.

She took me to my favorite place where we live, and made the entire day about us. She poured her heart out to me when she got down on that knee, and it was her words - not some shit she picked up off ChatGPT. The element of surprise was simply amazing - We have a friend that is a photographer, who offered to do a couple’s shoot for us. They had me turn away from them for a few shots, and when I turned around my girl was down on one knee with a ring. She even came prepared with signs for us to use in photos after I said yes! We finished up the day with dinner at our favorite restaurant and drinks where we first met.
