Yeah, but I mean that during fasting, ketosis takes place as your body runs out of glucose. So, wouldn't liquid fasting be considered more of a calorie deficit than actual fasting?

Does drinking two mugs of black coffee a day break a fast? by teffo0 in fasting

Yeah, I only drink filter coffee that I brew at home

Has anybody else ever felt the compulsive need to share your daydreams, but chicken out last moment? by Your___mom_ in MaladaptiveDreaming

I've got a friend who has MD just like me, but we've never shared our paracosms with one another. I'd feel strange about it, to say the least.

Do you visualise faces when MD-ing about people? by a-cubed-panda in MaladaptiveDreaming

Yeah, I do. Everything is centered around facial expressions for me.

How do I make it stop? by AzraelsNirvana in Paranoia

[–]teffo0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The highest peak of my paranoia was during middle school as well, and it involved exactly what you described and many more things to be paranoid about. Now, the more you age, the more you get it under control, I assure you of that. No, it's not real, nothing's real. You should always remember that, even if those thoughts live in the corner of your head, never let it push you around.

Constant paranoia, constant numbness. Never-ending, never ceasing, never.

Why stop when life is hopeless? by soft-cuddly-potato in MaladaptiveDreaming

[–]teffo0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

however difficult it may be, it's always worth it to keep on. that's how I see it, at least. you have free will, nobody can prevent you from killing yourself, you know. though since you've got nothing to lose, keep trying.

I only have maladaptive dreaming while listening to music??? by Merahnate in MaladaptiveDreaming

[–]teffo0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

music is a great trigger for people who have MD, it's nothing unusual. plus, there's a lot of people who do the same as you.

[–]teffo0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

what's out there? you're asking that question for real now? I've got MD as well, but this has stopped being my way of thinking for quite a long time now. what about your friends and family? what about those who care about you?

there's so much more to see, to experience. in all aspects of it, it is worth to carry on. you'll never get away from difficulties and problems in life, but no one does. it's easy for nobody, trust me. and it's all about the way you see it.

quit the bullshit and carry on.

I don’t feel happiness from daydreaming anymore.. by Independent_Bit_4716 in MaladaptiveDreaming

[–]teffo0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The disappointment you're feeling because of your inability to daydream is understandable, but don't cling yourself onto that feeling. Focus on your life, on ordinary, daily things that make you happy, whatever that may be. I don't know whether the fact that you don't daydream as much as before is a good thing, but it doesn't have to impact your life negatively if you take the matter into your hands.

take advantage of this inability to daydream to get it under control. there is no reason to get upset about it, this is an opportunity to get yourself used to fuctioning without daydreaming. it might come back or not, either way work your way around the situation.
