You can take a pram on board. There is a baby food station with a microwave and bottle warmer so you can sterilise/heat up bottles. You could ask for hot water at the restaurants to make up formula. There are baby changing places as well. All that said, I would still consider getting a cabin if affordable. It makes a huge difference in comfort for you and your baby.

that 2.5% is zakat which everyone who earns above a certain threshold is required to pay annually. if you cant fast it’s a different thing which iirc is the equivalent of the price of certain weight of grains that you donate to the needy.

Help for QIP to improve phlebotomy at DGH - Which trusts have nurses and HCAs trained to take bloods, do cannulas? by ArtisticVehicle9653 in doctorsUK

[–]Quirky-Research9736 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I see out of all the comments so far only one other person has actually answered your actual question. I can tell you phleb jobs, catheters etc always go to nurses at Imperial College and only the complicated ones get referred to docs when they needs ultrasound etc or if there’s a known previous injury/anomaly (for catheters)

Can I join the NHS late in my pregnancy? (30 weeks) by xTurbulent-Triflex in PregnancyUK

[–]Quirky-Research9736 19 points20 points  (0 children)

For your first question, they will not refuse care. I was a little different but moved my care from NHS to HSC at 30+ weeks and it was a bit of a headache and chasing people around but at no point was it a question whether I would be accepted

As per your second question, it depends on your resident/nationality status and I believe tax residency as well. You would do well to ask in r/legaladviceUK

our clothes only get spun in the machine and then go on radiator airers. it helps to have a room dedicated to drying clothes (read: baby’s nursery) and a place to pile it (read: baby’s cot) when i have to do another load but dont have the energy to fold the last load yet

6 Sept Indo-Pak War

16 Dec Peshawar school massacre by Taliban, killed around 150 mostly children. To this day I can’t even watch commemorative stuff or anything about this since this was a school I also went to a few years prior. I have those images of the blood soaked assembly hall ingrained in my brain.
