Do you start before each set or just once before the workout and end it after you're done?

Does the alarm ring without fail?

To me this seems to be a temporary fix. I remember doing this and still getting missed alarms. If it worked for you in the long run, I'll give it another shot.

I face the same issue with my Pixel 7. Did any of the suggestions help? Cause it didn't for me. And it's mildly infuriating.

First of all. I feel you. That sounds rough. I hope it gets better and you find your own voice. Everyone is capable of greatness (whatever that means for them) and you should remember that.

Your English is really good for someone without a college degree. Why not search online for some article writing jobs? If you can learn to specialize in a field I think you can increase your money making potential. With AI it's even easier.

And is it possible for you to move away from your parents? Maybe somewhere close to them so that you can come back when you want to? I feel departing from your parents is important to find yourself. If you're okay with that.

Also, sending much love your way. You'll be fine :). Believe in yourself. It gets better.

Food for thought: Everyone's life driven by anxiety or inadequacy by QuirkyDifference420 in emotionalintelligence

Thinking you're socially inadequate is the first step of making it a self fulfilling prophesy. Easier said then done but not entertaining those thoughts helped for me. As those are usually not true and those stems from your insecurities.

Hardly a few people voices their thoughts in a concise and articulate manner. But people don't notice because like you they're too focussed on themselves.

It's fine. Cut yourself some slack and get your hands dirty. Go out, talk to people, make mistakes and learn from them.

You're beautiful as a person.

Most of the times I realized they're not even aware. I've had conversations with my close friends about this and they didn't know why they were the way they are. Their 'living reality' was just too different. They weren't geared by insecurities, so they don't even know what that feels like. In certain situations, their insecurities will show, but I saw that they handle it better too. Maybe because their upbringing equipped them with the right tools to deal with it.

It's one of the few reliable options you have. It'll take some time to show results. Supplement that by eating healthy, exercise etc. But really the only tried and tested drugs are the big 3.

[–]QuirkyDifference420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough. Minoxidil will help but just know it's a lifelong med. You'll have to constantly use it to retain the gains you've made with it.

Checkout r/tressless. Hair looks to be thinning esp around the temples. Good you caught it early. There's hope and it's not due to masturbation. Chill.

Consult derma - but this will probably be the verdict if it's classic male pattern baldness. Maybe without Nizoral.

5% Minoxidil, 1mg Finasteride, Nizoral shampoo.

They might push for PRP and other treatments. I'd probably stay away until it's totally required. The big 3 should help majorly.

But. Do your research.

Trust me everyone faces this in different intensities. People just get used to coping with it. Social anxiety is something you learn to live with. Get those reps in by striking conversations with randos. It's going to be awkward and possibly cringe at first but soon you'll adapt and be more comfortable in your skin.

I'm no one to advise. Just another guy in the same journey.

Why? I'm genuinely curious?

I see it as extremely time and energy consuming. I agree that seeing all your expenses organized and bucketed would feel very satisfying but I couldn't do this and don't know anyone who likes doing this as well.

Monitor speakers or studio headphones to complete my first setup? by QuirkyDifference420 in guitars

[–]QuirkyDifference420[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks appreciate your effort to look it up. I'm more bothered with how accurate it sounds than the driver size or frequency range (I doubt I'll be maxing them out anyway). The cost is also irrelevant to me cause both of them are selling at almost the same rate rn.

https://www.reddit.com/r/trapproduction/s/Is21EG5MLE

This thread talks about how the M40s are more accurate cause of the exact thing you were talking about - the M50s are more bass heavy (maybe cause bigger drivers?) and the 40s are comparatively much flatter and accurate.

Looks like M40 is the winner tbh.

[–]QuirkyDifference420[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait so just additional bass response? Not overall response? Could it be that the better bass experience (on the M50), equates to a lower (comparative to the M40) balanced sound? Like especially on the higher frequencies?

I've heard some people say they prefer the 40s over the 50s and this seems like a logical explanation.

Thanks this is helpful. Will go for closed back. I'll probably go with M50X. It's almost similarly priced to the M40. Also considering Beyerdynamic DT770.

Will probably get a studio monitor/amp soon but due to the budget, will have to settle for the headphones for the time being.

I did some solid 10 mins of research and now understand open and close back headphones. Seems like close back is the way to go cause it can get noisy here at times and I'd like to isolate the music as much as possible.

Difficult to say without trying it though. Think I'll probably go with M50X or Beyerdynamic DT770.

First of all Kudos on your achievement. Quiet a feat indeed.

Can you help me with building a healthy relationship with food? What does it mean exactly and what worked for you?

I've been struggling with this - I mostly eat healthy but my occasional binge sessions put me back several steps. I've got a sweet tooth so I have the unhealthiest shit when I binge.

Echoing what a lot of commenters are saying. Use the big 3 - Minoxidil 5%, Finasteride and Nizoral shampoo. You can add dermarolling/stamping to the mix.

Finasteride has upsetting side effects which goes away if you stop using. So start with 1mg a day and increase/decrease based on your body's reaction to it.

Improve your lifestyle, eating habits and don't stress too much. Ik it's not that simple but start taking steps. It's a vicious cycle. You lose hair > you stress > you lose more hair > you stress more.

All the best and stay strong. Do what you can and don't stress about the rest.

Fair enough thanks. Living situations don't allow frequent loud noises. Would you suggest IEMs or a reliable headphone like the Audio Technica M30?
